Sketches & Paint #1

in Nerday3 years ago

Hello, Folks.

I haven't posted on here for a long... long while. In fact, I haven't been posting much throughout Hive and thought I should try and change that by starting a little series that'll be based on digital or traditional medium art studies experiments, ideas, and explorations, etc. The main idea being around showing off stuff that hasn't or wouldn't make the cut for whatever reason.

We'll start with these two...

The whole point of these two was just me testing out some Photoshop and Clip Studio Paint with my new pen tablet that arrived last week. The lighting was more of an afterthought. I'm still a little shabby working with the new tablet but I'm getting the hang of it.

I like the variability in the pressure and it showed on my nft art that I minted last week.

I was also testing out the pressure sensitivity on an adjustment layer with a gradient map to apply the warm orange lighting. It's a neat light trick for checking how your lighting show and still be able to non-destructively change the hue etc.

Anyway, If you like this art and would love to own it and others, you can visit my NFT gallery in @nftshowroom and buy it. The support would be deeply appreciated.
