Hello to all the members of this wonderful community! The next post I hope it works as a guide for someone who comes to need it. These are personal thoughts and analysis that have helped me to get up at times of crisis, more at an internal level than external. I decided to sit and write it precisely after having gone through a situation during which, my negative emotions took over me to the point of having a writer block and discouragement, which made me be inactive and apathetic for several days. I was able to overcome relatively fast thanks to these tools that I myself, I have managed to gather throughout my years of life. I hope that what they are about to read, serve them, especially those who are anxious, like me.

1) STOP!

I know it sounded absurd, since if the situation we face “it surpasses”, it is difficult “stop thinking” or “not thinking about that”. But, precisely in those moments where we do not know what to do, the first thing we have to know is that nothing helps us to go around the situation in our head. Therefore, we have to stop and make the easiest thing in the world: breathe. Because in those moments in which we are full of overwhelming, our breathing will be automatically shaken. Retrieve our breath is paramount. So, stop and inhale and exhale deeply until your heart stops beating accelerated and you can breathe normally.

2) CONTROL YOUR THOUGHTS

How can we resume the control of our thoughts in situations where we can only think about the problem that afflicts us? Well, that is achieved relaxing our mind. For this, it is necessary that we perform the activities that welcome us the most. In my case, when my head is crafted with negative thoughts or I find dispersed, it works for me to listen to music; When I listen to my favorite songs and sing them, I feel that a happiness seizes me, because my mind focuses on music and memories that attracts me. Another immediate thing that works, is to drink coffee; I love coffee and my mind associates it with a happy time of day, so it will be enough to drink a good cup of coffee to replenish my spirits. Finally, when the thoughts and ideas I have, they are very strong, what I usually do is write; I like to write stories using a somewhat melancholy writing and when I write, I feel it drain my own negative thoughts. That is, if you like to dance, dance; If you like video games; Play. Something as simple as watching a funny series or videos, once our mind is quiet, the murky thoughts can “tame” without any problem and we will be able to see things more clearly.

3) THINK ABOUT THE AVAILABLE OPTIONS

Once we spent the emotion of the moment and we managed to calm our thoughts, we can think of the possible solutions. Being aware of what is happening and how that is, we are affecting us, we have to go to action if we want to get out of there. For this, we have to think about What we can do to solve our problem. It is not easy, I know, but it is better to go directly to think about the solutions that put our heads on the well of worry. For example: When I moved, I stopped having access to WiFi and I established myself in a rural area, using only my mobile data; It has not been easy, but after going through the previous steps mentioned, I thought about the options I had to continue making my activities: I found an area at home, where sometimes, there is a good sign, thus establishing schedules to be able to realice my work. Instead of giving up at my problem, I amold me to the circumstances.

4) STOP LOOKING GUILTY AND ACT

Whatever it is happening, we can not blame nor, point to others. The situation exists, we have the possible options on how to act and the following, is to apply them. Many times it is about “essay and error”, but at all times, instead of feeling guilty, we have to congratulate us for keeping going despite the situation. Life is like a set of challenges and the idea, it is to go overcoming, you can do it!

Of course, everything mentioned is what I usually apply in my case, after years of self-analysis of my person. Knowing yourself, it is much easier to know how to act in times of anxiety, it is like “giving a palette to a child”, only that we will know its favorite flavor. Therefore, I recommend you take the daily work of getting to know each other, both the things we like, as those that dislike us. Information like this, is crucial for certain moments in our life, especially, in crisis. Thank you very much for having visited my publication. I hope you have seemed interesting and contribute more tools from this type to the community.
