Mr and Mrs Fidelis just got married and started a new home. Mr Johnson Fidelis, is a really wealthy man, which explains how easy and grand, his wedding was with Mrs Jane Fidelis.

Before they got married, Mr and Mrs Fidelis had been having a lot of dates, which happen to be some of the best times for Mrs Jane Fidelis, who has always loved the fancy clothes, shoes, and other jewelries that Johnson buys for her, even the outstanding tasty foods they eat in restaurants.

On their first day as a couple, Johnson told Jane, "I will not be going to work today, being that this is our first day in our new mansion and even as a couple, I would like to skip any business appointment and focus on spending today with you in our mansion" (wow, how romantic!).

But Jane replied, "I know you'd like to dedicate your time to me for today, but I would prefer you to go to work, what if you miss out of an important contract?" (Jane, please leave money at least for today🙄), she asked, rubbing Johnson's chest.

On hearing his wife, Johnson held Jane's hands in a slight anger😡 and said, "why don't you want to spend this first day with me, but only think of me missing an important contract, or have you forgotten Mr Tyson, my most trusted secretary? He'll handle everything in the office, just quit worrying about my job and focus on spending sometime with me for just today, please".

Jane, still with the mindset that Johnson should go to work, with grudge, agreed by just nodding her head to the understanding of Johnson and they spent the whole day together.

Although, as a rich man that he is, Johnson had sensed, that Jane might be obsessed with his wealth, but he thought, "it's just one conversation, she may not be", so he made that day passed.

From that day, Johnson has always be mindful of what his wife says, sometimes he even purposely test what she will say or do, Jane on the other hand, seems not to know what her husband is planning (for he plans to divorce her, once he has fully proven that she doesn't love him).

Jane just continue to fail her test and exams, and being fully convinced that his wife is attracted to his money, Johnson thought, "but she's too beautiful🥺 for me to divorce her, If I do, my friends will say I don't have a good taste for women, but if I don't, she will only be a pain in my neck, what if she's pregnant? Oh pregnant!" He shouted, and immediately ran to Jane and held her hand saying that they should go for a pregnancy test.

But Jane pulled her hand back and said, "pregnancy test? And why will I be pregnant all of a sudden? Or has your prophet meant with you? I can't be pregnant, not now, please I'm not doing any test", Jane ended her speech, went to sit on a couch, and started operating her phone.

Johnson was quite for sometime looking at Jane and suddenly smiled and shook his head, then said, shouting (but not on top his voice), "Well, it will be kind of me to let you know, that if you are not pregnant, (at the top of his voice now) then you are leaving this mansion and my property, because all you ever wanted was my money, you never loved me, so if you want to be kind like me, you will go in there, pack your things and go to your middle class family!".

Jane was shocked at all those things coming from Johnson. But she calmed down and said, "But honey, why will I be after your wealth, all I want is you and nothing else, even if you are poor, I will still love you no matter what, I will still be with you", says Johnson's wife, who went to him, and started using her beauty charms on him to calm him down.

Johnson however fell for her charms and said, "Alright, am giving you a second chance, but if you continue this way, I will do what needs to be done", he ended their conversation and went to his room.

After Johnson has left for his room, Jane sighed, and said, "Me? Leave this whole mansion and go back to that old and small house to live with my family again? God forbid, I will never go back to that house again, never, or instead... I should find a way to save for myself some money and a house, a really nice house, somewhere far from this place, in case my luck runs out", so she said and even device ways to deceive her husband in helping her achieve her goal.

But before Jane was even able to make a move, she started hearing Johnson's voice, which was like roar in her ears, she was going to know what was happening, but instead, Johnson ran down from his room to meet her and said in a hurry, "Baby am coming, I need to go to the office right away".

Before Jane could even alter a word, Johnson has gone outside, board his car and away. Jane wondered, what must have happened that would make him to rush off like that? Being still curious, she waited for his arrival to get the gist.

After some hours, Jane went outside the house to watch the gate in anticipation for Johnson's coming. Then, someone knocked at the gate, and Jane, curious to know who it was, thinking in her mind, "It cannot be Johnson, if it is him, he will horn instead of knocking", told the gate man to see who is at the gate.

As soon as the gate man opened a hole in the gate to see the person (for security reasons), he shouted, "Hey, it's the boss!", and Jane was surprised saying, "Open the gate for him!".

When the gate man opened the gate, Johnson came in with some other persons, who drove him down to his place. Jane, immediately asked, "what happened to your car and who are all these people?" Johnson replied facing the ground with a very dull face, "These are bank officials, and they are here to claim what belongs to them, and my car also has been claimed by them as well".

"I knew this will happen, I knew that one day you'll screw things up for me!", Jane suddenly cuts in, "before now I have always told you to focus on your work, but you wouldn't listen, now look at what you have gotten me into", she said dragging Johnson's suit.

But Johnson, still facing the ground, continued his speech, "My own secretary, my most trusted secretary has betrayed me, Mr Tyson has sold all my life's work, only to bring me to my knees". "Bla bla bla bla, am leaving, you never knew me, you think am one of the ladies that would want to spend their life in poverty? No am not", Jane said cutting short Johnson's speech.

And Johnson looked at Jane, as she rushed in to park her things and smiled, Yet said, "But I thought you said you'll still be with me even if am poor, well thank God I acted well, if not I will be harboring a wife that loves my wealth instead of me"😜😅.

Turns out Johnson has been acting this whole time, but how come did this happen?🤔 Let me rewind back, oh at the time Jane was planning, Johnson was also planning in his room talking to his friend on the phone, who gave him the idea of acting to loose his wealth, to see if Jane really loves him.

Johnson has played his card, even before Jane played hers.

So that ends the story, Jane was driven from the mansion and Johnson set out to look for a woman that loves him indeed, because now he understands that true happiness comes from love and not beauty. The End.
