Four plus hours away from the end of this season, I wanted to get a few battles in before the day ran away.
As usual, insights from what and how I chose my teams are applicable to how I approach my life and today's activities...
My 1st battle today: 21 mana, magic only, weak magic and equalizer rulesets.
Because I realized recently I wasn't playing my Water cards enough, I've been choosing it more lately. So for this battle, I wanted to play Water with my fav Ruler of the Sea blaster along with Djinn Oshannus. And another fav, my Medusa stunner.
I had all the cards my opponent used. I didn't even stop to think about the alternate Earth magic cards I could choose. Nor did I think of not using Oshannus so I could add additional smaller mana magic ones.
If I'd thought of all that and still chosen the cards I did, that would be ok. Sometimes I like just going with what flows but this morning I'm feeling like strategic thinking would be a good balance today.

1st insight/note to self:
Don't go for the obvious, first inclination every time.
Today I'll remember to ask myself 'what's another alternative that may achieve my goal even better?' Is this too predictable? How can I think, act and live today outside the box of what's both easy. predictable and safe?
My 2nd battle today: 47 mana, Lost Legendary, Gladiator and Little Peeps rulesets.
I adore using my Glads in ranked play battles. I meant to in this one. Then clean forgot. Until after I clicked submit.

2nd insight/note to self:
Sometimes it's ok not to use the most obvious, most powerful tool in my arsenal. Sometimes simple works. Sometimes simple is enough and totally perfect.
Today, along with thinking outside the box, I'll also relax and do, say and be what feels simple and right in each moment. Today, I'll continue to trust myself, even and perhaps especially when things don't turn out the way I thought they would.
My 3rd battle today: 21 mana, magic only, weak magic and equalizer rulesets.
I hardly use 3 of the cards my opponent chose and don't use often enough 3 of the cards I chose.
And I didn't realize the latter until I was almost done choosing... and saw 2 of the alternate 4 mana cards I was leaving on the table. Since one was a stunner, I grabbed it, then added another I hardly pick.
3rd insight/note to self:
When I don't even feel like my back is against the wall, I can still choose to go for broke as if it is. I can jump all in. I can trust and use the unfamiliar and not completely well known. I am safe, no matter what. Everything always works out for me. Always.
