INTRODUCTION

During the last day of season 103, I tried to catch up with the modern ladder board diamond league and fortunately I ended up at top 36. Being one of the top 40 at diamond league, you will be reward with 10,000 DEC which is a good thing to compensate my card rental. During the last day prior to end of season, I accumulated a total of 10 daily reward chest for diamond league which I can claim on the following day and it will be entitle for the new rewards system.

Opening the 10 diamond chest daily reward provided me with 201.385 SPS with a value of 5.66usd (using February 1, 2023 12:06pm price at gate.io of .02814usd/sps). I got 23 legendary potion and 30 alchemy potion. For the soulbound cards I got 2 common cards which are Gobson bomber (1piece) & Terraceous Grunt (4 pieces), 1 rare Pembrook Nymph (2 pieces) and 1 epic Noa the Just (2 pieces).

Soul Bound Card Rewards

I think this is where the excitement in this game. Everyone's goal is to get legendary gold foil cards aside from getting huge amount of SPS. Having this rewards cards is by chance where it depends on the league where you battle.

The new set of reward cards will contain a total of 43 cards: 37 monster cards and 6 Summoner cards. Breaking further the rewards will be compose of 12 Legendary cards, 7 Epic cards, 12 Rare cards, and 12 Common cards.

Aside from the reward cards, there will be new abilities which will be introduce and this are (1) Weapons Training, (2) Martyr, and (3) Conscript. Weapons Training is an ability that “trains” adjacent characters with no attack, thereby giving them an attack of the same type as the character with the Weapons Training ability. Martyr is an ability that gives adjacent characters +1 to all stats when a character with the ability dies in battle. Conscript is a new ability available on Summoners only, which allows players to use one more Gladiator card in the battle than normal.

Pembrook Nymph

A rare water summoner that provides + 1 health and conscript ability.

Noa the Just

An epic monters for the water category having 5 Mana, No Damage, 6 Speed, 4-6 Armor, 5-7 HP. This monsters has 4 abilities which are rust, dodge, backfire and matyr.

Terraceous Grunt

Common monster for the earth category having 6 Mana, 1-4 Melee Damage, 2-3 Speed, 10-12 HP and with void and return fire for its ability.

Gobson Bomber

A neutral monsters having 7 Mana, 2-3 Ranged Damage, 2-5 Speed, 3-5 HP. Abilities are recharge, camouflage and piercing and furry.

Conclusion

I'm positive with the new reward system, because it adds new excitement and experience. Having new cards and skill, the game play will change and players will think of a way to be competitive by having better cards combination and anticipation of what your enemy be using.
