Venezuela es un verdadero paraíso por donde lo miremos. Y no es nacionalismo (o bueno quizás un poco), pero es que definitivamente el mejor apodo que le han dado a nuestro país y sin duda el más acertado es el de "tierra de gracia", pues aquí encontrarás ríos, playas, montañas, dunas (médanos), todo entre 24 estados en los que se conjuga la perfección.

Venezuela is a true paradise wherever we look at it. And it is not nationalism (or maybe a little), but it is that definitely the best nickname that our country has been given and without a doubt the most accurate is that of "land of grace", because here you will find rivers, beaches, mountains, dunes (dunes), all between 24 states in which perfection is conjugated.

En varias oportunidades he tenido la dicha de visitar la espectacular Isla de Coche, ubicada en el estado Nueva Esparta y cada visita ha sido una experiencia mágica, aún cuando no soy fanática de la playa pero es que estar en el mar y observar su grandeza me da paz. Más allá del tema de bañarme en el mar o que a veces simplemente no me provoque.

On several occasions I have had the good fortune to visit the spectacular Isla de Coche, located in the state of Nueva Esparta and each visit has been a magical experience, even though I am not a fan of the beach, but being at sea and observing its greatness makes me gives peace. Para llegar a Isla de Coche hay solo dos opciones desde el Puerto de Playa El Yaque, ubicado en la Isla de Margarita. Una es adquiriendo un boleto en los catamarán de los Hoteles de Playa El Yaque aunque generalmente están copados por los huéspedes, y la segunda es en los peñeros que están siempre en el muelle que son más económicos pero la aventura se vuelve extrema ya que cruzar mar abierto en estas pequeñas embarcaciones no es cosa fácil.

To get to Isla de Coche there are only two options from the Port of Playa El Yaque, located on Isla de Margarita. One is acquiring a ticket in the catamaran of the El Yaque Beach Hotels although they are generally taken over by the guests, and the second is in the peñeros that are always on the dock that are cheaper but the adventure becomes extreme since crossing the sea open in these small boats is not an easy thing.

Yo he utilizado ambas opciones. En las dos me asusto porque bueno ir en medio del mar por media hora no es que sea de mis experiencias favoritas pero todo sea por llegar a la isla.

I have used both options. In both I get scared because it is good to go in the middle of the sea for half an hour is not one of my favorite experiences but everything is to reach the island.

Al llegar a Isla de Coche te reciben los anfitriones de los hoteles. Si tienes reservación seguramente te estarán esperando al bajar de la embarcación, de lo contrario muchos te ofrecerán sus servicios. Durante tu estadía se te acercarán los chicos locales a ofrecerte un servicio de snorkel que vale la pena disfrutar. Te llevan en una embarcación a unos diez minutos de la orilla y puedes apreciar especias marinas hermosas entre las que se encuentran estrellas de mar.

During your stay, the local boys will approach you to offer you a snorkeling service that is worth enjoying. They take you in a boat about ten minutes from the shore and you can appreciate beautiful marine spices among which are starfish.

Venezuela tiene encantos por donde la veas pero si tienen la oportunidad no duden en visitar la maravillosa Isla de Coche.
