Bad run being locked in the loo, three times perhaps the end of that now. Something we were never allowed was to go in our own from as early as I can remember till about 10 years old, no sitting on toilets outside of the home, afraid that has stuck with me all my life,

Did not know Mother Theresa visited here, meeting her being social worker aides must have been exciting. I was gifted a beautiful original sketch of her that lies in a drawer (quite happy to pass her on to anyone who would appreciate).

Have a wonderful day, we sit without water currently and promise of no electricity later, Oh what a country!

I loved your loo story Fiona, that's one of my fears!
I always check if there's an escape route like the ones that are open on top; can you imagine a 68 year old having to stand on top of the loo and try to climb over the wall or door.
Some have no escape route and if the locking mechanism looks suspect, I use my handbag as a stopper rather than risk being stuck! Claustrophobia just ain't fun!
How wonderful meeting Mother Theresa, a blessing indeed!
Sorrow you had issues with WordPress, but at least it managed to find its way to Hive!

Hahaha, yep i had the handle in my hand too once...

Hahahaha! Love that!

Hahahaha! Love that!

I was surprised with this story. I remembered an event I lived through as a child, as a result of that situation my fear increased. As children we are innocent and defenseless. It's hard to regain trust again, thank you for sharing.

Yip. Somethings affect us for ever.
