Chunk of Gold

Hi Friends,

As a precious metal investor, I like to buy a variety of things. I wanted to share a recent pick up of a gold nugget... check it out:

This is 2.3 grams of gold from Mohave County, Arizona. These natural gold nuggets are super cool, I just wish I could find them myself! I hope to find one this size one day, but for now, I am just adding it to the gold pile.

This was my second purchase from NaturalGoldTrader.com and I have had great experiences both times. Check them out if you are interested in buying gold specimens like this. They threw this 1/10th ounce silver round in for free as well:

Minted fractional gold is so expensive these days - for a 1/10th ounce gold American Eagle, you are paying $260 ($190 is spot price), and then you have 10% sales tax (in California) of $26 on top of that, so, out the door, you are paying $286 for $190 worth of gold - too expensive! Buying a full ounce is a much better idea when it comes to premiums, but they are hard to resell any higher than spot price and its tough to find buyers when the price is $2,000+ for a one ounce gold coin. A stackers dilema for sure.

Thanks for coming by!
Brian

Ohh ...sales tax on precious metals, I am lucky that in Washington there's no sales tax, it is considered money.
They really do jack up the price on fractional gold premiums, it makes it difficult to stack at a reasonable value....

Yeah, the sales tax is killer... thanks for coming by!

I'll keep in mind to bring my Metal Detector when I am out around the Mojave Arizona area. 😉
The Natural way to Stack.

Hehe, what kind of metal detector do you have?!

Garrett 400i, i for international metric.

Nice 😎 i find myself in arizona from time to time (near laughlin). If you are serious about detecting out there let me know and we can go out to the gold grounds 👍🏻 (maybe Oatman area)

Pretty neat!
I don't mind adding that to my stack!!!

You should check them out! Good experiences each time!

Do ever bring the wife along?

I usually go by myself or with a friend - my wife isn’t in to gold prospecting (yet!) plus I need her to watch the kids so I can go dig in the dirt! Still a little dangerous for the kids, unfortunately.

Wait till they are grown!!! 🥰🌺🤙 !ENGAGE

If you come down to So Cal you (and anyone else you are with) can do some prospecting with me and Derek - he is the expert down here.

Oh, BTW, in a scheduled post coming out 14:55 today in Leofinance, I mentioned you and Derek! Please join the contest @brian.rrr!

Thank you for your engagement on this post, you have recieved ENGAGE tokens.

Cool looking nugget. Too bad you didn’t find it yourself and had to pay for it. Hopefully soon you will.

Hopefully I will find a big one soon. Seems most big nuggets are found with expensive metal detectors - haven’t wanted to spend $800 to $5,000 just to have the capability (still need to find the time to get out to the gold grounds). Most of the gold I find is very small, but it does add up.

@brian.rrr, Hope that you will start your own Treasure Hunt Journey very soon. Stay blessed.

I haven't tried to find buyers for my gold, I hope I don't have to either. What did that nugget cost you?

$187.50 total - reasonable, and there generally are premiums for nuggets as they also have collectors value.

Thanks, that is good to know. I didn't know people collect them that way.

Thanks for showing the store of value in such small packages, @brian.rrr. That gold nugget is really cool.

I've wanted a nugget for a while now. Its a cool stack addition!

I like the way you explain about gold
