Who likes Gold and Silver? I do and so do the members of the Silver Gold Stackers Community here on HIVE. We have a good number of members posting regularly about Precious Metals, whether it be showing off their latest purchase, hand pouring their own silver, silver smithing, market analysis, prospecting or even just writing some fiction about the shiny stuff, we love to see all types of different content about Precious Metals. But we could always have more….

A couple of years back the community created and then fundraised to build up an account that we could use to promote content from the community. The account is called @ssg-community though we often refer to it by the brand of Precious the Silver Mermaid. She does a pretty good job of supporting subscribers content and every month we try and come up with a new way to get more people involved in producing and promoting Precious Metals content. So with November fast approaching and my own Hive Power stake accumulating nicely, I figured it was time to dip into my own wallet to fund a promotion that might to help Precious and our community make another move forward.

This promotion has 2 distinct goals. The first goal is to encourage members who aren’t yet subscribers of Precious to get involved, make some posts on HIVE about Precious Metals and contribute more content for the community to enjoy. The second goal is to get some of the more active community members to encourage, and even mentor those content producers to help get them established as more regular contributors on HIVE. As such, the promotion has 2 distinct parts :-

Part A – Choose Your Running Mate
Step 1 - Nominate a fellow member of SGS who isn’t already a subscriber to Precious by posting a reply to this post below that looks like “I nominate @insertnamehere”

Step 2 - Get the member you have nominated to ACCEPT your nomination by having them upvote your nomination comment

Step 3 - Get other SGS members to ENDORSE your nomination by also upvoting your nomination comment

Each member of SGS can nominate only 1 other member for this promotion so choose your nominee wisely. You want to nominate someone who is willing to have a go at posting over the month of November and you also want to nominate someone who you have a friendship with so that you can encourage and mentor them a little bit.

The Top 5 Nominations which have been accepted by the nominee and endorsed by other SGS members will be sponsored with a Copper Tier subscription to Precious the Silver Mermaid for November. This will result in her upvoting their posts and providing some extra support and encouragement. Nominations will close at midnight Oct-31 and voting will close at midnight on Nov-2

Part B – The Race is ON

All you need to do here is encourage your nominee to post on HIVE and help them with a bit of feedback or advice if they need it. We don’t want you writing the post for them, but you can help them with post ideas, proof read or even editorialise their content if they want the extra assistance. Remember, the goal here is to get more members producing content for the long run so the idea is to help get them up and running to stand on their own feet as content producers.

At the end of November we will add up the vote percentages each of the nominees receives from Precious the Silver Mermaid over the course of the month and that will be the scoreboard that we use to determine the overall winner. Whoever nominated the winning member at the end of the month will Win a 2500 Hive Power Delegation from me for the month of December.
