It's not released yet, this is just a sneak peak of something I'm working on in my spare time.
The main thing I wanted was an "inbox" style interface for finding new posts. I have no issue with the existing interfaces, but I wanted to step away from that using a fresh new approach.
I was partially inspired by Google Reader. It had that "inbox" feel that I enjoyed. But one of the problems with Google Reader was that feeds could become overwhelming.
The approach I'm using is to manage tags/community feeds, with an emphasis on chronological sort.
Goals
- 100 % manual voting mana utilization: Help curators find at least 10 posts per day so they can use up their voting power, manually.
- Ignore tags option: To achieve this fully manual curation, allow curators to ignore certain tags/communities, if they wish.
- Favorite tags option: Allow curators to set certain tags as their favorite tags/communities.
- No historic content: Only index content that is within the voting window.
- No comments: Only index root posts (not replies).
- Mark as read: Allow curators to mark posts as read so that they can find new content at their own pace.
- Related tags: Find tags that are related to other tags, grouped by post frequency.
- Keyboard hotkeys: Navigate using the keyboard.
Future Features
- Direct Voting: Instead of browsing to the post just to vote, why not vote directly from the interface (via Hive Keychain, of course).
- Poisoned pills: An option to automatically ignore authors if they post to certain tags/communities. Beyond just ignoring posts on these tags, it will also ignore the entire blog of authors who may occasionally post to these tags, until they stop using those tags.
- Community Moderation: Once a curator has a handle on a tag/community, I'll offer tools to expand directly on this as well. This will allow moderators to enforce their personal ignore rules on a community, if they wish to apply them.
Tag Cloud
There are probably better looking word clouds out there, but unlike those, this one is functional. When you drill into a particular tag, you can get a list of related tags, which is shown as a cloud, with bigger words representing tags with more posts:
In the above example, first I did a search on the tag comics then pulled up the related tags dialog. From here, I can see what tags are used along with comics at a glance.
If I click on one, space for example, I'll see posts that have both comics along with space together:
This is really nice because there's only one, and it's hyper focused on exactly what I was looking for.
I still have some performance/scalability issues to work out. Not really sure what the release schedule will look like.

We could have a discord where workers use this hyperion hive post sorter and write whole books for authors just using thei4 voice. Like jamie from joe rogan podcast. Look that up jamie can be enhanced now . We should do podcast st7ff witu banjo and discord where banjo takes ur hive posting key and makes posts for u .u can even use special accounts banjo makes for u so u get to just pay 3 hive or 1 ST8NG from @wemohen or whatever and make a thorwaway and let banjo control the fresh hive wallet for u making posts and voting and displaying it all in discord .... omg yeah lets just have all this huperion stuff in discord lol we must hire more people and we need to show them the need to pay employees for hive research and development. The employees can then voluntarily buy hivepower with p3rcentage of their paycheck and hive should be seen as some sort of non p4ofit since it helps the world and teaches people in global south and inner city youth programming and software skills

Hyperion is already the name of the eos history api thing. Accch i reckon you ought to simply make sure people know this is Hyperion for Hive . Hive Hyperion. Or Inertias Hyperion.
Or maybe the confusion may come in handy? May not hurt to have people know about both. Also i think hyperion is being phased out on eos for something else maybe i dunno so maybe ask eos rio lol brazilians ... they love the internetamaright? Lol they also dont get offended at jokes and just like tye attention ... probly cuz they have so many attractive women but yeah getting to go off on my diatribes is a lixury i hage on hive not voice

Hive is superior with its open source decentralized comments and accounts compared to closed private dark and damp lonely voice.com where u feel alone like wolves are gonna come after u. But here on hive i feel like im in a school of fish ... intellegent fish who have their own hove civilization ...

I did say something helpful... that hyperion is already being used for something in the dpos world... but Now to make up for my long crazy comment... heres a cool hive related music video from the CIA by artist Kloud who was told about the fork ahead of time since its all theatre... and he made this song for those in the know shhhh
Wake up the hive
Hyperion is also a moon of Saturn, which is part of the convention I use for my project codenames. Prior to this, I also had a project called Ganymede (moon of Jupiter) for steem and golos.
