Hello

I hope you're having a great day!

Welcome to my another Splinterlands Battle Challenge.

In this post; I'll share my winning match with PHANTASM in splinterlands.
And with this post; I'm going to join SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge! PHANTASM

For a better experience, you may watch the battle direct from splinterlands official website from the link below.

THEME: PHANTASM

image.png

Edition: REWARD
Rarity: COMMON
Element: DEATH

Many of the creatures of Mortis are terrifying and mysterious, even to the Dark Eternals themselves. When the Dark Tzar convinced him so many years ago to tamper with the rules of death, the Lord of Darkness never knew the true scope of the multitude of terrors he would be unleashing forever onto the Splinterlands. The approach of a Phantasm is never expected. They are always presumed to be a figment of their victim's imagination until the pain begins. The pain is very real - Source.

I don't know why I still didn't have a Phantasm on a bigger level in my collection.
Probably because I forgot about it.
It's a really great card with flying ability in common.
I already had some cards and then I bought 38 more and made it level 5 which gave me anther ability which is Return Fire.

Stats of Phantasm:

Now my Phantasm is in level 5 which offers me 3 melee attack, 5 speed , 0 shield & 7 health with "Flying & Return Fire" ability.
And it needs 6 mana to play.

"CHALLENGE RULES"

Create a post sharing a video of one of your battles using the PHANTASM.

  • I've created this post sharing a gameplay link of one of my battles using PHANTASM.

Tag splinterlands.

  • I just finished tagging splinterlands.

Tell us about your lineup. Explain why you put each card in that position and why the PHANTASM is a good fit for the ruleset.

  • So, to explain my lineup... Why did I use the cards I did? And why in that order?
Yeah about that... In this match; I've played with Death splinter.

A Brief Info About The Match

The battles mana cap was 23 with the "Earthquake" Rule.
I used Death for the match while my opponent used Dragon splinter.

My Lineup.

image.png

I had my Haunted Spirit in level 6, Darkest Mage in level 5, Phantasm in level 5, Haunted Spider in level 6 & Twisted Jester in level 6.
It was my setup.

And my opponent had his/her cards as Cocatrice in level 1, Wave Runner (Gold) in level 4, Furious Chicken (Gold) in level 3, Enchanted Pixie in level 1, Ruler of the Seas in level 2, Pirate Captain (Gold) in level 4.

Let me talk about cards that I used in this battle.

Summoner: ZINTAR MORTALIS (RARE Death Summoner)

image.png

My ZINTAR MORTALIS is in level 6 and he offers -1 melee attack to opponent monsters.
He needs 3 mana.

Go on check out this card from Splinterlands Market if you wish to.

No 01: HAUNTED SPIRIT (RARE Death Monster)

This is the melee attacker of death splinter which I use in every battle that I play with death splinter if it's available for that battle.

One of the finest monsters of death splinter.

I like it's power, especially it's "Heal" ability.

My HAUNTED SPIRIT is in level 6 with 4 melee attack, 3 speed, 9 health with "Heal & Magic Reflect" ability.
It needs 5 mana.

Go on check out this card from Splinterlands Market if you wish to.

Nor 02: DARKEST MAGE (EPIC Death Monster)

This seems the Doctor Strange of splinterlands.

I'm very very thankful to Gerber as he delegated me a Darkest Mage in level 6.

This magician is so cool that I wish to play every battle with him/her.

My Darkest Mage (got as delegation) is in level 6 with 2 magic attack, 3 speed & 4 health with "Affliction & Snipe" ability.
It needs ONLY 2 mana.

Go on check out this card from Splinterlands Market if you wish to.

No 03: PHANTASM (COMMON Death Monster)

I don't know why I still didn't have a Phantasm on a bigger level in my collection.
Probably because I forgot about it.
It's a really great card with flying ability in common.

My Phantasm is in level 5 with 3 melee attack, 5 speed, and 7 health with "Flying & Return Fire" abilities.
It needs 6 mana to play.

Go on check out this card from Splinterlands Market if you wish to.

No 04: HAUNTED SPIDER (COMMON Death Monster)

This is a spider but nor a normal one.

You should check on its nails, they're as sharp as blades made with steel.

This is a very nice and helpful monster in death splinter.
It's a great fit for little mana rule too.

My HAUNTED SPIDER is in level 6 with 2 ranged attacks, 3 speed, 4 health with "Poison" ability.
It needs 3 mana.

Go on check out this card from Splinterlands Market if you wish to.

No 05: TWISTED JESTER (RARE Death Monster)

It's my favorite monster in splinterlands which is Twisted Jester.

I'm a big fan of this card from the beggining of my splinterlands journey so I don't need to check on its ability.
Twisted Jester is a good fit for the match for its special abilities and high attack, speed, health.

Oh, I like that clown a lot.
He doesn't talk but he bites, so be careful.

My TWISTED JESTER is in level 6 with 3 ranged attacks, 4 speed, 6 health with "Snipe & Dodge" abilities.
It needs 4 mana.

Go on check out this card from Splinterlands Market if you wish to.

  • In my personal opinion... PHANTASM is a nice fit for the ruleset for its high power such as attack power, speed, and health and especially for its abilities.

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?

  • Yeah, my strategy worked out perfectly and I'll try to use similar helpful monsters next time.

Do you use the PHANTASM often? Why or why not?

  • No, I don't use it often cause I had it in my mind to level it up and then use it but I forgot. But I think... I should use it more often from now on.

You have prepared in great detail. Excellent work. Your quoting pictures in the game can impress even readers who don't know the game.

Thank you for your nice compliment.
Much appreciated.

Oh! Great post!
I love the added info about each card.
And Death! I always forget how awesome all the monsters are!
Nice job putting the phantasm in the middle... so he could destroy the opponent after everyone else got tired. 💪
