In these times of Pandemic (Covid-19 virus), and of quarantine at home, I have dedicated much of my free time to solving traditional puzzle games, which I have downloaded to my cell phone. I confess that since I was a child I have been passionate about solving puzzles, finding solutions to mathematical problems, of medium difficulty, and all this kind of healthy hobbies, which lead to experience that feeling of victory, very rewarding indeed, that we have all enjoyed at some time in our lives.

That is why, when I read so much scientific information about how positive it is for the human brain to maintain the constant practice of solving puzzles, and even more, when this data is backed up by results obtained in numerous experiments, carried out by various personalities and medical institutions recognized worldwide, the least I can do is be convinced that solving puzzles is often far from being a waste of time. In any case, it is the closest thing to a compliment, that the experts in the field, certify the capacity we have to develop, when solving this type of puzzles, a lot of patience, perseverance, imagination and even spatial intelligence.

In this regard, I was pleased to learn that in 1936, Gerald Gasson, a member of the Committee of the National Autism Society of the United States, designed the luminous multicolored loop, made up of pieces of a puzzle, which would later become Symbol, of the awareness of the autism spectrum disorder, in the world. Reflecting, with these puzzle pieces, the complexity and enigma generated by the autism spectrum, and the multiple families, communities and professionals involved in the process. In such a way that each piece represents the puzzle that has not yet been completed, and the brilliance of the bond, represents hope in present and future research, and awareness in the world.

Puzzles contain a very special magic.

"The brain never stops changing, therefore we never stop learning and transforming ourselves."

It is a continuous encounter with the Insight or Aha moment or deep understanding, like the Eureka moment.

Knowing that "at least we have something in life that has a solution " is also a form of reward, and is according to the experts, like the feeling we experience in sex or food.

I had not dared to go beyond conventional puzzle games. But, as a kind of blessing that I will be grateful for all my life, while I was urging myself on the Internet, I came across the puzzle video game

. This first-person action-adventure puzzle game, available for cell phones, really captured my attention and "caught" me from the beginning.

The story develops when the main character (the player) wakes up in a space station with very particular characteristics, hearing in his head a female voice that will guide him, from the beginning to the end, inside that dangerous place, while he must face and overcome impressive obstacles, which separate him from the exit.

The principle of the video game should not be too complicated, for experienced users in games with some similarity to Fractal Space. However, with each advance in the development of the story, we will face more difficult obstacles to overcome, for which we will have the help of sophisticated tools, which will allow us to continue advancing.

The electric shock weapon will be our constant companion and will allow us to potentially remotely operate electronic devices. It will serve us both to deactivate trap switches and to turn off lasers. But, we must never forget to keep our weapon's battery fully charged.

We will find ourselves transporting buckets, even in space, in order to activate door openings or to reach higher places.

We will have some opportunities to explore the space station for clues or to find other outlets, or health packages that we will often need, on our journey.

Showing a lot of skill and strategies, we will keep moving forward, solving puzzles, going through portal teleporters, finding zero-gravity rooms, secret rooms and exclusive passages...

Another ingenious and interesting element, which will soon be incorporated into the game, providing greater playability, will be a sophisticated, and impressive

that will allow us to float in space, and fly freely through it to avoid deadly traps and not to be left adrift, and die in the middle of nowhere. This tool together with the features of Hyper Speed and Fast Stroke, will give us the opportunity to jump into space managing better precision and time, to gain more chances to survive complicated traps.

Throughout our journey, towards the exit of the space station, we will find lost recordings, which will help us remember what happened to us? what was the reason and why we were there? We will be able to give answers to the mysteries that surround our past, present and future. We will get to know for sure, what led us to this space station so full of surprises.

The mobile video game Fractal Space is presented in two versions, the free version, also available for cell phones, which is the one I'm using, and the premium version in high definition. And an advantage not less interesting, is that it has the translation, to the Spanish language, of the main points of the game.

In Fractal Space they have known how to combine the elements of precision, stealth, strategy and speed..., within a frame of spectacular graphics, with very well achieved designs, and extraordinary gameplay, which leaves no room for doubt about its high quality.

Knowing now better, everything that can benefit the brain this type of video puzzle games, I have not had problems in suffering trying to overcome the first levels, as I imagine many of you suffered, in your beginnings in the world of video games.

Again I have to confess, I really lost count of the number of times I have died in my frustrated attempts to move forward in history, trying to overcome obstacles, in this fascinating puzzle. But what I do have a clear memory of is the multiple and pleasant feelings that have accompanied each of my advances.

Of course, the "bad words" have come up spontaneously, when I have been cornered or have died, at the last moment, when I had taken success for granted, in some of my attempts at advancement. This reminds me, which I have heard many times, of my son's euphoric celebrations, his screams of complaint, "fights" and even blows on the computer table, when he is connected to his video game world.
I really didn't understand, very well, why all this was happening! But now I know, from my own experience, what it was all about!.

My experience can be placed between: sometimes frustrating, all the time exciting, continually challenging and entertaining, and always full of euphoric celebration. Where the ego has been rewarded, each time I have managed to overcome one level after another.

There are many positive elements in favor, which make the video game Fractal Space, a real space puzzle game, out of this world. For this excellent work that the developers of HAZE GAMES have achieved, from my humble point of view, they deserve all the recognition in the world.

En estos tiempos de Pandemia (Virus Covid-19), y de cuarentena en casa, he dedicado mucho de mi tiempo libre a resolver juegos tradicionales de Rompecabezas, los cuales he descargado a mi teléfono celular. Les confieso que desde muy chico me apasiona el hecho de resolver acertijos, encontrar soluciones a problemas matemáticos, de dificultad media, y toda esta clase de pasatiempos sanos, que conlleven a experimentar esa sensación de victoria, muy gratificante por cierto, que todos hemos disfrutado alguna vez en la vida.

Por eso, cuando leo tanta información científica acerca de lo positivo que representa, para el cerebro Humano, mantener la práctica constante de resolver rompecabezas, y más aún, cuando estos datos están avalados por resultados obtenidos en numerosos experimentos, llevados a cabo por diversas personalidades e instituciones médicas reconocidas mundialmente, lo menos que puedo es estar convencido, de que resolver rompecabezas frecuentemente está muy lejos de ser una pérdida de tiempo. En todo caso, es lo más cercano a un halago, que los entendidos en la materia, certifiquen la capacidad que tenemos de desarrollar, al resolver este tipo de acertijos, mucha paciencia, perseverancia, imaginación y hasta inteligencia espacial.

En este sentido, me sentí gratamente complacido al saber que en el año 1936, Gerald Gasson, un miembro del Comité de la Sociedad Nacional de Autismo de EE.UU., diseñó el lazo multicolor luminoso, conformado por piezas de un rompecabezas, que posteriormente se convertiria en Símbolo, de la concienciación del trastorno del espectro del autismo, en el mundo. Reflejando, con estas figuras de rompecabezas, la complejidad y el enigma que genera el espectro del autismo, y las múltiples familias, comunidades y profesionales que intervienen durante el proceso. De tal forma que cada pieza representa el rompecabezas que aún no ha sido completado, y la brillantez del lazo, representa la esperanza en las investigaciones presentes y futuras, y la toma de conciencia en el mundo.

Los rompecabezas encierran una magia muy especial.

"El cerebro nunca deja de cambiar, por lo tanto nunca dejamos de aprender y transformarnos."

Es un continuo encuentro con el Insight o momento ajá o de comprensión profunda, como el momento Eureka.

Saber que "al menos tenemos algo en la vida que tiene solución" es también una forma de recompensa, y es según los entendidos, como la sensación que experimentamos en el sexo o la comida.

No me había atrevido a ir más allá de los juegos de rompecabezas convencionales. Pero, como por una suerte de bendición que voy a agradecer toda la vida, mientras me encontraba urgando en el internet, me topé con el videojuego de rompecabezas

, desarrollado por el grupo

HAZE GAMES

. Este videojuego de rompecabezas, acción y aventuras, en primera persona y disponible para teléfonos celulares, realmente cautivó mi atención y me "atrapó" desde el comienzo.

La historia se desarrolla cuando el personaje principal (el jugador) despierta en una estación espacial con características muy particulares, escuchando en su cabeza una voz femenina que le guiará, desde el comienzo hasta el final, dentro de aquel peligroso lugar, mientras él debe enfrentar y sortear impresionantes obstáculos, que lo separan de la salida.

El principio del videojuego no debe resultar muy complicado, para los usuarios experimentados en juegos con alguna similitud a Fractal Space. Sin embargo, a cada avance en el desarrollo de la historia, nos enfrentaremos a escollos más difíciles de superar, para lo cual contaremos con la ayuda de sofisticadas herramientas, que nos permitirán seguir avanzando.

El arma de eléctrochoque será nuestra constante compañera y nos permitirá potenciar dispositivos electrónicos de forma remota. Nos servirá tanto para desactivar interruptores de trampas, como para apagar láseres. Pero, nunca debemos olvidar mantener completamente cargada la batería de nuestra arma.

Nos encontraremos transportando cubos, incluso en el espacio, para poder activar aperturas de puertas o para lograr alcanzar lugares de mayor altura.

Tendremos algunas oportunidades para explorar la estación espacial en busca de pistas o para encontrar otras salidas, o paquetes de salud que nos harán mucha falta frecuentemente, en nuestro recorrido.

Mostrando mucha habilidad y estrategias, seguiremos avanzando, resolviendo rompecabezas, atravesando teletransportadores de portal, encontrando salas de gravedad cero, habitaciones secretas y pasadizos exclusivos...

Otro elemento ingenioso e interesante, que se incorporará pronto al juego, proporcionando mayor jugabilidad, será un sofisticado, e impresionànte

que nos permitirá flotar en el espacio, y volar libremente por él para evitar trampas mortales y para no quedar a la deriva, y morir en medio de la nada. Esta herramienta junto con las características de Hiper Velocidad y Carrera Rápida, nos darán la oportunidad de saltar al espacio manejando mejor la precisión y el tiempo, para ganar mayor probabilidades de sobrevivir a complicadas trampas.

A lo largo de nuestro recorrido, hacia la salida de la estación espacial, iremos encontrando grabaciones perdidas, que nos ayudarán a recordar ¿que nos sucedió? ¿cuál fue la razón y el porque nos tocó a nosotros estar allí?. Podremos dar respuestas a los misterios que rodean nuestro pasado, presente y futuro. Iremos conociendo a ciencia cierta, qué nos condujo hasta esta estación espacial tan llena de sorpresas.

El videojuego móvil Fractal Space se presenta en dos versiones, la versión gratuita, disponible también para teléfonos celulares, que es la que estoy utilizando, y la versión premium en alta definición. Y una ventaja no menos interesante, es que cuenta con la traducción, al idioma castellano, de los principales puntos del juego.

En Fractal Space hán sabido combinar los elementos de precisión, sigilo, estrategia y velocidad..., dentro de un marco de gráficos espectaculares, con diseños muy bien logrados, y una jugabilidad extraordinaria, que no deja lugar a dudas de su alta calidad.

Conociendo ahora mejor, todo lo que puede beneficiar al cerebro este tipo de videojuegos de rompecabezas, no he tenido problemas en sufrir tratando de superar los primeros niveles, como me imagino muchos de ustedes sufrieron, en sus inicios en el mundo de los videojuegos.

Nuevamente tengo que confesarles, que realmente perdí la cuenta de las veces que he muerto en mis frustrados intentos, de avanzar en la historia, tratando de superar obstáculos, en este rompecabezas tan fascinante. Pero de lo que si tengo una clara memoria, es de las múltiples y agradables sensáciones, que han acompañado cada uno de mis avances.

Por su puesto, las "malas palabras" han brotado espontáneamente, al verme acorralado o morir en el último momento, cuando daba por asegurado el éxito, en algún intento de avance. Lo que me recuerda, haber escuchado, muchas veces, las celebraciones eufóricas de mi hijo, sus gritos de reclamo, "peleas" y hasta golpes sobre la mesa del computador, cuando está conectado a su mundo de los videojuegos.
¡Realmente no entendía aquello muy bien! ¡Ahora sé de qué se trata!.

Mi experiencia la puedo ubicar entre: algunas veces frustrante, todo el tiempo emocionante, continuamente retador y entretenido, y siempre llena de eufórica celebración. Donde el ego ha sido recompensado, cada vez que he ido logrando superar un nivel tras otro.

Son muchos los elementos a favor, que hacen del videojuego Fractal Space, un verdadero videojuego de rompecabezas espacial, fuera de serie. Por este excelente trabajo que han logrado los desarrolladores de HAZE GAMES, desde mi humilde punto de vista, merecen todo el reconocimiento del mundo.
