Hello 🕹️Gaming Community 🕹️ and Hivers.
¡How I would have liked to write, that this video game came to my hands, when I was just a child! And to be able to relate that my parents called my attention, when I neglected my duties, for spending too much time immersed in the game !But that was not my case!
In my childhood and adolescence, I was fortunate to participate in most of the popular games, here in Venezuela: games of Metras or Pichas, Trompos, Papagayos or Voladores, Perinola, Yoyo, among others. All this, long before having any access, or contact with any video game, console or something similar.
The first time I had the opportunity to play
This game of military strategy immediately caught my attention, and it was very common for me to stay in front of the computer for quite some time, trying to complete, successfully, some military mission.
The introductory information to the game, contained all the details of the mission to be performed. Establishing, from the beginning, a real war atmosphere. This allowed, to the player, to establish the strategy that was going to follow, and made him feel that he was inside the own battlefield.
Commandos, was set in World War II, with a very good programming, had joined action, stealth and tactics, all together, in real time, which gave me the opportunity to interact with the stage.
It was a good game, or maybe it still is. It had great gameplay, I could hide bodies, move barrels, hide the soldier, or blow up houses realistically.
I liked it very much, because the difficulty of the game increased very quickly, as I managed to move from one mission to another.
I don't remember if I successfully completed all
levels, which make up the game, however, I had a lot of fun playing and playing, until I got the right strategy to beat the enemy.
But the adventure, the excitement, the fun and the pleasant moments were just about to begin. My little son had also taken an interest in that fabulous game, and would soon surpass his father.
With all the energy, skill and extraordinary and impressive intelligence, characteristic of this blessed and prodigious generation. My boy advanced with great ease in the game of Commandos.
Today I remember with much affection and emotion, how I enjoyed every mission my little son went through, like a real soldier or "Commando".
These were really moments that were engraved in my mind, and became one of the best memories with my son, which I treasure closer to my heart.

¡Cómo me hubiera gustado escribir, que este juego de vídeo llegó a mis manos, cuando yo era a penas un niño! Y poder relatar que mis padres me llamaban la atención, cuando yo descuidaba mis deberes, por pasar mucho tiempo inmerso en el juego. ¡Pero ese no fue mi caso!
En mi niñez y adolescencia, tuve la fortuna de participar en la mayoría de los juegos populares, de aquí de Venezuela: juegos de Metras o Pichas, Trompos, Papagayos o Voladores, Perinola, Yoyo, entre otros. Todo esto, mucho tiempo antes de tener cualquier acceso, o contacto con algún juego de video, consola o algo parecido.
La primera vez que tuve la oportunidad de jugar
Este juego de estrategias militares atrapó inmediatamente mi atención, y era muy común que yo permaneciera bastante tiempo, frente al ordenador, tratando de completar, con éxito, alguna misión militar.
La información de introducción al juego, hacia referencia a todos los detalles de la misión que se iba a llevar a cabo. Estableciendo, desde el comienzo, una verdadera atmósfera de guerra. Lo que hacía, que el jugador, trazará la estrategia que iba a seguir, y se sintiera dentro del mismísimo campo de batalla.
Commandos, estaba ambientado en la Segunda Guerra Mundial, con una muy buena programación, había unido acción, sigilo y tácticas, todo junto, en tiempo real, que me brindaba la oportunidad de interactuar con el escenario.
Era un buen juego, o quizás lo siga siendo. Hacía gala de una gran jugabilidad, yo podía esconder cadáveres, trasladar barriles, esconder al soldado, o hacer estallar casas de forma realista.
Me gustaba mucho, porque la dificultad del juego iba aumentando muy rápidamente, a medida que lograba pasar de una misión a otra.
No recuerdo si logré completar con éxito todos los
niveles, que conforman el juego, sin embargo, me divertía muchísimo jugando y jugando, hasta que conseguía la estrategia correcta para vencer al enemigo.
Pero la aventura, la emoción, la diversión y los gratos momentos a penas estaban por comenzar. Mi pequeño hijo también se había interesado en aquel fabuloso juego, y muy pronto superaría a su padre.
Con toda la energía, habilidad y una inteligencia extraordinaria e impresionante, propia de esta generación bendecida y prodigiosa. Mi muchacho avanzaba con gran facilidad en el juego de Commandos.
Hoy recuerdo con mucho cariño y emoción, como yo disfrutaba, cada misión que mi pequeño iba superando, era como un verdadero gran "Commando".
Realmente fueron momentos que quedaron muy grabados en mi mente, y pasaron a ser, uno de los mejores recuerdos junto a mi hijo, que atesoro más cerca a mi corazón.

Es muy interesante ver un juego de estrategia como éste, yo de pequeño no le llegué a jugar pero si al clásico Age of Empire, en casa de mi abuela en la computadora de mi tío. La verdad que era un juego muy divertido. La similitud de que ambos sean de estrategia y los gráficos me hizo recordar eso, jajaja.
Que bueno @syberia, que el juego Commandos le haya traído esos buenos recuerdos. He estado investigando la historia del juego y en su momento dio de que hablar. Introdujo, al mundo de los videojuegos, varios elementos de importancia. Creo que en la actualidad también pudiera fácilmente entretenernos por un buen rato.
