The Sims 4 - Island Living: How to find the hidden trait and summon volcanic bombs

in Hive Gaming2 years ago
I wrote earlier about Island Living: about having a mermaid and living in Sulani. You can read more about it HERE. When I posted it, I knew there was stuff I didn't try out. For the past days I wanted to try out how to summon the Elementals Heritage, AND summon volcanic bombs. I needed to figure out how to get the hidden trait: Sulani Mana!

This was easier than I thought. To start with your sim need to have the Child of the Island trait. Without that, you can't do anything of what I'm going to show you.

Some explanation about the trait

Every sim that have the Child of the Island trait can Summon the Elementals Heritage.

That is some ghosts that belongs to the Sulani island, and you have to do different kind of things to make them pleased. You don't need to please them to summon the volcanic bomb. I'm going to explain why later.

The Elementals Heritage will arrive at your lot after your sim have summoned them, and you can do normal social stuff with them, just like a normal sim. Even you asked them or not, they will tell you if you pleased them or not.

Your sim can do different kinds of stuff to please the Elementals Heritage:

Comb the beach of trash, make food that's came with the Island Living gaming pack, enter the bonfire that are at Sulani now and then, and do the fire dance. With the Child of the Island trait your sim don't like to eat fish, because it belongs to the nature. So try to stay away from it.

But back to my project to summon the volcanic bomb.

I started off with getting to know one of the Sulani Elementals Heritage really good, flirted a little, and then I got the option to chose the one Elementals Heritage to move into my household.

When he (let's call him Jack) moved in, he changed from a ghost to a normal sim. That wouldn't happen if he was a "normal" ghost on the Sims 4. It would just stay a ghost. I wrote a little bit how to turn from a ghost to a person HERE if you need to figure that out.

Not to be awful and judgemental, but Jack doesn't look good at all after he moved in. So I did a little makeover as you can see on the other pictures. Haha. I like brown hair better :)

Sorry Jack, you are not my type of guy. Haha.

But what I figured out was that Jack actually got the trait that I needed to summon the volcanic-bomb! The hidden trait belongs to the Sulani Elementals Heritage!

I thought my sim and Jack needed to have a baby to the Sulani Mana trait to be created. But I was happily wrong. Less stress.

The hidden trait Sulani Mana

I started right away (after the makeover) to summon the volcanic bomb.I didn't thought it would be that easy. But wow, this was so much fun too! There was a few different kinds of things I could do after Jack summoned the volcanic bomb. The bomb will cool down after a while, but you get the option to touch it before it cools down. Jack did it, and he caught on fire.

Let's summon on the volcanic boooooomb!

It arrived!

Oh shit... Jack caught on fire!

Luckily the neighbor wanted to help out and extinguished the fire. My sim didn't die this time! I am a little bit proud. Haha.

After the volcano-bomb cooled down,

the sim (of your choice) could hacked it and a few crystals and metals would arrive in your sims inventory. Some of them was unique and others was just normal. A nice way to get more of the crystals. Those are much needed in the Science career and also if your sim want to be a vizard. I wrote more about being a vizard HERE.

The volcano-bomb would disappear after you have hacked it down.

There is actually an another way for getting volcano bombs on your lot. You can chose your lot challenges to have Volcanic Activity.

Your sim can get anxiety for living on a lot like that, and now and then it would come the same volcano bombs on the lot with a small earthquake, and some times steam vents. But I have never experienced that it hits your sims house or a sim, so I guess your sim can't die of it. But only by touching it and get caught on fire.

There is actually an active volcano placed in Sulani, and I showed a little bit of it when I earlier wrote about Sulani. I love that it's possible for your sim to walk up to it.

Doesn't this look amazing?

I love these small secrets in the Sims, and I'm still looking for more secrets. This shows that the game is so much more, and it takes so much time to do it all. It's all in the details, right?

I never thought of that it could be a hidden trait in this game, but this shows that it is a point to try out as much as possible in this game. So stay tuned for more!

What do you think?

Thank you so much for reading!

I finally got to see the volcano bomb!

As promised 😉
