Donkey Kong Country is a platform game released in 1994 for the Super Nintendo console by Rareware and Nintendo. This game is known, not only by its story and characters but also by its graphical aspect.

In the visual aspect, Donkey Kong Country is known for being the first to use, in a 16bit console, pre-rendered 3D graphics, providing a pleasant visual aspect and with sharper images. The 3D graphics were inserted into the game thanks to a process called Advanced Computer Modelling. This technique was used in many games from now on.

Their story is situated on Donkey Kong Island, where King Rool has stolen Donkey Kong's banana stock. He, along with a new partner named Diddy Kong, must overcome various obstacles until they recover all the stolen bananas. You'll have to play different stages with bosses to get ahead in this great adventure.

The controls are quite simple to use, we can use either of the two characters and work together or invite a friend and play in pairs and have great fun. An interesting feature of this release is the ability to use other animals during the adventure.

Another of DK's highlights, apart from the graphic aspect, is its music. The music is of very good quality, with good rhythms, totally inspired by the jungle and was presented additionally in a music album under the name of DK Jamz.

If you get a chance to play this game, don't doubt it. DK will transport you to a time where the importance of the graphic aspect in videogames begins to be given, but keeping the gameplay and especially the fun. It is a game full of many surprises and secrets that will make you check the levels 2 or 3 times.
