I recommend turning off the lights
Last night I dusted off my old PSP, I was a bit bored and wanted to play comfortably in my bed. I didn't know what game to play since I have several good games, so I decided to close my eyes and choose at random. Rayman was the game that destiny wanted me to play, it was totally worth it to enjoy it again. Rayman is a pretty old game, although not that old. This game has been on many consoles. The first time I played it, was at a friend's house, he had a Nintendo 64 with few games, I remember it was about 7 games, maybe one more or one less, the point is that they were few. Among those games was Rayman, the cartridge was different from the others, it caught my attention a lot. I was lucky enough to be able to play that magnificent game that day and it never left my head. I'm sure you played it too, at least I hope you did and you understand what I'm going to talk about next.
Story
The story of this game is one that I love, in fact, it reminds me a lot of the theme of the planet of treasure. The story is about pirates, robot pirates. These are the bad guys of the story. These pirates decide to invade the planet. Basically it's like aliens invading the earth, you just have to exchange the aliens for pirates.
These evil pirates kidnap the poor inhabitants in order to profit from them and increase their power. All that evil unleashes destruction and chaos in the beautiful world, the Glade of Dreams, causing the core of the world to be scattered everywhere. Our mission will be to recover all the energy that makes up the core, the Heart of the world. But it won't be easy, because our little friend has his powers taken away from him and will need a lot of help on his way.

First of all I want to clarify that being a child this game was too complicated for me. At least the difficulty in this game is something I have always found excellent. An excellent point if you are a lover of challenges. Obviously not everything is good in this game, at the beginning it won't be so difficult, but let's say that in the middle of the game it gets very fucked up. I lost count of how many times I've died in this game and how many times I reinvented it until I could advance, I promise you that's too many times.
I like the gameplay a lot, even though sometimes it is complicated to control Rayman. I would have loved the game to have a little more padding as far as the story is concerned, since it weakens a little there. It's not that it's a bad story, but honestly I would have preferred to have more kinematics and more narration in the game. I'm just telling you that it's a game that's totally worth playing, even if you're an adult 23 or older. I don't have a lot of negative things to say about this game, it seems like a real gem.
One thing I really like is that it's a game that has been leaping from generation to generation. It's a game that has gone through multiple consoles, from the oldest to the most current ones, obviously with some changes in terms of textures, but I'll talk about that later. Thanks to that I have been able to enjoy this magnificent game in several consoles. I have enjoyed it in Nintendo 64, my Nintendo Ds, my 3DS, even me in my Playstation 3 and well, last night in my PSP.

Rayman is an old game, yet its graphics are not bad. Let's say that for that time, the graphics that this game has are quite good and beautiful. Obviously, it's not a game that focuses on the realistic, it's a fantasy and cartoon style game, where all colors have a lot of saturation and a quite well defined color. I already mentioned that this game has its version in different consoles. At least the experience with this game in my 3DS was very different from the others. Visually it has a quite nice and smooth texture rework much more than before, but I sincerely prefer the classic textures.
If you ever played this game, I would appreciate a comment about this section, I would like to know what you think about this game visually and if you played it in different consoles, I would like to know if you noticed any significant change in the textures.
Soundtrack
Music and sound is one of the most important things in a game. In this case, the music of this game can hardly be appreciated, let's say it's pretty bad in this aspect. But the sound is excellent. Everything produces sound and it's a pretty correct sound. No game is perfect in everything, but at least for me, this game is perfect and I love it. If you haven't played it, I recommend you to play it without any doubt.

Ayer por la noche desempolvé mi vieja PSP, estaba algo aburrido y quería jugar cómodo en mi cama. No sabía que juego jugar ya que tengo varios buenos juegos, así que decidí cerrar los ojos y elegir al azar. Rayman fue el juego que el destino quiso que jugase, valió totalmente la pena volver a disfrutarlo. Rayman es un juego bastante viejo, aunque no tanto. Este juego ha estado en muchas consolas. La primera vez que lo jugué, fue en casa de un amigo, él tenía una Nintendo 64 con pocos juegos, recuerdo que eran aproximadamente unos 7 juegos, tal vez uno más o uno menos, el punto es que eran pocos. Entre esos juegos estaba Rayman, el cartucho era distinto a los demás, me llamó mucho la atención. Tuve la suerte de poder jugar ese magnífico juego aquel día y nunca salió de mi cabeza. Seguramente tú también lo hayas jugado, al menos espero que sea así y entiendas de lo que te hablaré a continuación.
Historia
La historia de este juego es de esas que me encanta, de hecho, me recuerda mucho a la temática del planeta del tesoro. La historia va de piratas, piratas robots. Estos son los malos de la historia. Estos piratas deciden invadir el planeta. Básicamente es como si los aliens invadieran la tierra, solo hay que cambiar a los aliens por piratas.
Estos malvados piratas secuestran a los pobres habitantes para poder lucrarse con ellos y aumentar su poder. Toda esa maldad desencadena destrucción y caos en el bonito mundo, el Claro de los Sueños, haciendo que el núcleo del mundo se disperse por todos lados. Nuestra misión será recuperar toda la energía que conforma al núcleo, el Corazón del mundo. Pero no será sencillo ya que a nuestro pequeño amigo le es arrebatado sus poderes y necesitará mucha ayuda en su camino.
Jugabilidad

Antes que nada quiero aclarar que siendo un niño este juego se me complicaba demasiado. Al menos la dificultad en este juego es algo que siempre me ha parecido excelente. Un excelente punto positivo si eres amante de los desafíos. Obviamente no todo es bueno en este juego, al principio no será tan difícil, pero digamos que a mitad de juego se vuelve muy jodido. Perdí la cuenta de cuantas veces he muerto en este juego y de cuantas veces lo reintenté hasta poder avanzar, les prometo que son demasiadas veces.
La jugabilidad me gusta mucho, aunque algunas veces sea complicado poder controlar a Rayman. Me hubiera encantando que el juego hubiera tenido un poco más de relleno en cuanto a la historia ya que ahí flaquea un poco. No es que sea una mala historia, pero sinceramente hubiera preferido tener más cinemáticas y más narración en el juego. Solo les digo que es un juego que vale totalmente la pena, incluso si eres un adulto de 23 años o más. No tengo muchas cosas negativas que decir acerca de este juego, me parece una verdadera joya.
Algo que me gusta mucho es que es un juego que ha ido saltando de generación tras generación. Es un juego que ha pasado por múltiples consolas, desde las más viejas hasta las más actuales, obviamente con algunos cambios en cuanto a las texturas, pero luego les hablaré de eso. Gracias a eso he podido disfrutar de este magnífico juego en varias consolas. Lo he disfrutado en Nintendo 64, mi Nintendo Ds, mi 3DS, incluso hasta mi en mi Playstation 3 y bueno, ayer por la noche en mi PSP.
Apartado Visual

Rayman es un juego viejo, aún así sus gráficos no son malos. Digamos que para aquella época, los gráficos que este juego posee son bastante buenos y bonitos. Obviamente, no es un juego que se enfoque en lo realista, es un juego al estilo fantasía y cartoon, en donde todos colores tienen mucha saturación y un color bastante bien definido. Ya les mencioné que este juego tiene su versión en distintas consolas. Al menos la experiencia con este juego en mi 3DS fue muy distinta a las demás. Visualmente tiene un rework de texturas bastante bonito y suave mucho más que antes, pero sinceramente prefiero las texturas clásicas.
Si alguna vez jugaste a este juego, te agradecería un comentario acerca de esta sección, quisiera saber que te parece este juego visualmente y si lo jugaste en distintas consolas, quisiera saber si notaste algún cambio significativo en cuanto a las texturas.
Banda Sonora
La música y el sonido es una de las cosas más importantes en un juego. En este caso, la música de este juego casi no se puede apreciar, digamos que es bastante malo en este aspecto. Pero el sonido si que es excelente. Todo produce sonido y es un sonido bastante correcto. Ningún juego es perfecto en todo, pero al menos para mi, este juego es perfecto y me encanta. Si no lo has jugado, te recomiendo jugarlo sin ninguna duda.
