It's been a long time since my internet connection was this bad. Thanks to Hive I was able to acquire a mobile to be able to communicate and play more games, make content and finally, to be able to record myself making music, although well, I really only needed a mobile to be able to verify my Binance account. I downloaded several games to try out, although others I've already played but a long time ago. To put them in context, my old phone is a Windows Phone, basically a became obsolete in December but ended support in early 2020. The entire store, all the apps, anything that needed networking, was totally suspended for life. My phone could only take pretty pictures and I could only use it to watch a couple of YouTube videos from the browser, but nothing else. Windows Phones are phones that for me were amazing, I even own one of the best sellers, but due to the years, its image capturing quality deteriorated.

Android is almost unknown to me, at least on mobile. Android games, I used to try them in emulators and so I could enjoy some games, but the experience is totally different.

One of the first games I downloaded and the one I'm going to talk about today is Grim Soul. The store suggested it to me and as the weight of the application was quite low, I downloaded it. Before I say anything about a game, I want to make it clear that everything I will say is only my opinion and my experience. I know there are probably better games out there than the one I'm going to talk about, maybe the game really isn't that good, but this will be my personal opinion and for a mobile game, this game is not bad at all.

After the game finished downloading, I started it up. I found the loading screen to be quite nice, it didn't take long to load.

After it finished loading, we can notice a small customization section. We can choose the sex of our character, skin color, hair style, beard, and color of these, plus the most important option, the name. This section reminds me a bit of the customization options of the sims, because of the way the menus are located, plus we can also select special features to start. When we finish the customization, the game starts without further ado.

We find ourselves in a forest, with a lot of fog and quite gloomy. On the screen, we can see many options, movement, construction, collection, even an "Auto" button for our character to collect all kinds of materials by himself.

In terms of fluidity, the game runs great, the graphics were set to maximum by default, but I think that from High to Maximum there is not much difference, so I left it on High to avoid any heating of my device.

This game caught my attention for several reasons, the most important reason being that I love survival games. I only played it for about an hour and everything you will read here, is all I played.

For now the game contains certain things that any survival game contains, such as gathering materials for construction, building housing, making weapons for defense and most importantly, a threat. Despite containing everything mentioned, I do not feel that the game is a survival as such, it reminds me a bit of Clash Of Clans and Age Of Empire, games in which we must build our village or castle, strengthen it and thus be able to defeat the waves of enemies, I feel that this game is more tactical, but maybe I'm wrong, there are many things I have to explore.

Something I hate about video games is that they have limitations. This game needs energy to be able to discover new areas and advance in the terrain. I guess after this energy runs out, you have to wait a certain amount of time to play again. Some require investment of money and that makes the game experience deteriorate.

I quite enjoyed being able to build my little house, it was quite simple. Structures can be improved with different materials. One example is that a wooden wall can be turned into a stone one and then something much better, as I said, much like Clash Of Clans. For now the graphics, gameplay and everything that this game has is not bad to me, except for the energy issue that I already mentioned. The sounds are not bad, but I find them very simple for the type of game it is.

Maybe it will bring more content from this game, for now I play it quite casually. so I quite doubt it.

Hace mucho tiempo que mi conexión a internet no era tan mala. Gracias a Hive pude adquirir un móvil para poder comunicarme y jugar más juegos, hacer contenido y finalmente, poder grabarme haciendo música, aunque bueno, realmente solo necesitaba un móvil para poder verificar mi cuenta de Binance. He descargado varios juegos para probar, aunque otros ya los he jugado pero hace mucho tiempo. Para meterlos en contexto, mi antiguo teléfono es un Windows Phone, básicamente a quedó obsoleto en diciembre pero terminó de dar soporte a inicios de 2020. Toda la tienda, todas las aplicaciones, todo lo que necesitase red, estaba totalmente suspendido de por vida. Mi teléfono solo podía hacer bonitas fotos y solo podía utilizarlo ver un par de vídeos en Youtube desde el explorador, pero nada más. Los Windows Phone son teléfonos que para mi fueron increíbles, incluso poseo uno de los más vendidos, pero debido a los años, su calidad de captar imagen, se fue deteriorando.

Android es casi desconocido para mi, al menos en móvil. Los juegos de Android, yo solía probarlos en emuladores y así poder disfrutar de algunos juegos, pero la experiencia es totalmente distinta.

Uno de los primeros juegos que descargué y del que les voy a hablar hoy es Grim Soul. La tienda me lo sugirió y como el peso de la aplicación era bastante bajo, lo descargué. Antes de decir algo acerca de un juego, quiero dejar en claro que todo lo que diré es únicamente mi opinión y mi experiencia. Sé que probablemente existen mejores juegos que del que voy a hablar, tal vez el juego realmente no sea tan bueno, pero esta será mi opinión personal y para ser un juego de móvil, este juego no está nada mal.

Después de que el juego se terminó de descargar, lo inicié. La pantalla de carga me pareció bastante bonita, no se demoró mucho en cargar.

Al terminar la carga, podemos notar un pequeño apartado de personalización. Podemos elegir el sexo de nuestro personaje, color de piel, estilo de cabello, barba, y color de estos, además de la opción más importante, el nombre. Este apartado me recuerda un poco a las opciones de personalización de los sims, por el como están ubicados los menús, además de que también podremos seleccionar rasgos especiales para iniciar. Al terminar la personalización, el juego inicia sin más.

Nos encontramos en un bosque, con mucha niebla y bastante sombrío. En la pantalla, podemos ver muchas opciones, movimiento, construcción, recolección, incluso un botón "Auto" para que nuestro personaje recolecte todo tipo de materiales por sí solo.

En cuanto a fluidez, el juego va de lujo, los gráficos fueron colocados al máximo de forma predeterminada, pero pienso que de Alto a Máximo no hay mucha diferencia, así que lo dejé en Alto para evitar cualquier calentamiento de mi dispositivo.

Este juego me llamó la atención por varias razones, la razón más importante es que adoro los juegos de supervivencia. Solo lo jugué como por una hora y todo lo que aquí leerás, es todo lo que jugué.

Por ahora el juego contiene ciertas cosas que contienen cualquier juego survival, tales como la recolección de materiales para construcción, construcción de vivienda, fabricación de armas para la defensa y lo más importante, una amenaza. A pesar de contener todo lo mencionado, no siento que el juego sea un survival como tal, me recuerda un poco a Clash Of Clans y Age Of Empire, juegos en los que debemos de construir nuestra aldea o castillo, fortalecerlo y así poder vencer las oleadas de los enemigos, siento que este juego es algo más táctico, pero tal vez me equivoco, hay muchas cosas que tengo que explorar.

Algo que detesto de los videojuegos, es que tengan limitaciones. Este juego necesita de energía para poder descubrir nuevas zonas y avanzar en el terreno. Supongo que después de que esta energía se termina, hay que esperar cierta cantidad de tiempo para volver a jugar. Algunos requieren inversión de dinero y eso hace que la experiencia de juego se deteriore.

Me gustó bastante poder construir mi pequeña casa, fue bastante simple. Las estructuras pueden ser mejoradas con distintos materiales. Un ejemplo es que un muro de madera puede ser convertido en uno de piedra y luego algo mucho mejor, como ya lo dije, muy parecido a Clash Of Clans. Por ahora los gráficos, la jugabilidad y todo lo que este juego posee no me parece malo, a excepción del tema de la energía que ya les comenté. Los sonidos no están mal, pero me parecen muy sencillos para el tipo de juego que es.

Tal vez traiga más contenido de este juego, por ahora lo juego de forma bastante casual. así que lo dudo bastante.
