Second to last episode of DOOM and it's a mixture of sadness and epicness. We have the Crucible in our possession so all we need to do now is get back to hell so we can shut down the portal and end the invasion. Turns out that requires an obscure amount of energy and the only energy source big enough on the whole of mars is VEGA, the AI that has been guiding us this entire time. We have to destroy him.
It's a little bit sad but luckily with VEGA being the most advanced AI to ever have existed is smart enough to see the necessity of it. He doesn't fight back but instead guides us on our path to his own destruction. It's kinda poetic at the same time as being sad.
I have to say that VEGA looks really cool. His reactor looks like a giant brain which I guess is fitting for an AI of his grandeur. With the fate of the entire solar system in our hands we don't hesitate for a second to destroy him and take outlast goodbyes. Now it's off to Hell for one last and final showdown with the demons. I'm excited!
