I bring to you guys something different today, a game where me and the mates "camped" the hell out of every damn place available on the map. Yes, that's really what you can expect in this match, really, trust me, no joke lol.
I say it that way because just recently we heard from a bunch of other players that our playstyle is "campy". And after hearing all that, my mind really hasn't been able to focus on anything else. I really can't put a finger on it, I keep on going back, trying to figure out when and where exactly did we camp.
Did we have a campfire on? Were we roasting marshmallows? Was it all a dream...
Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?
Jokes apart though, nowadays everyone has something to say, especially because they are "shielded" behind a computer or mobile screen. They throw at you whatever they want, however they want it, without even giving it a second thought. Usually brushing aside their own faults and actions. Such things and conversations go a lot differently face to face, because that's where you really can't afford to make a fool out of yourself. Even on a voice chat, people at least think twice before uttering a single word.
Talking shit is easy when you're behind a screen, whereas in real life you have to face consequences.
Nowadays everyone just thinks they're the best. Players really can't accept a proper beating, they find it tough to admit that the other guy/team was simply better, and have managed to play their cards and position well.
I guess I'm getting carried away as I rant about the wannabe "pro scene" action, this "scene" surely does not deserve that much attention. I'd rather not waste my words, not on this post at least. I'd rather share it all and dive a bit deeper on another post.
For now, let's focus on the gameplay we have for today, a fairly fast paced, yet steady gameplay.
These are the type of matches where almost everything is just A1. Top notch backup, comms, control, from A to Z, everything just checks out.
We landed at our usual spot and took the most immediately available engagements, all quite flawless and efficient fights. A few wannabes were present in the lobby, yet we managed to get rid of them with ease.
The recent issue I've been facing is a scary amount of packet loss, it's quite consistent too. It surely doesn't help when I'm teleporting from one place to another when taking fights. Like it wasn't bad enough already. Criminally low and unstable fps, fairly high and unstable ping, an average of 3% to 4% packet loss, sometimes spiking up and hovering around 15% even.
Yet, you won't find me slacking or backing off, I give it my best, I adapt and I try to survive.
For this match I ran with some player's Armaguerra and STG for most of the match, felt like a good combo. Later on I just got my perks from on of our loadouts.
Killstreak were readily available and abundant in terms of supply, we were just stacking up on every possible tool available to make our win easier. No point in stacking up that much cash, it's a game, you won't be taking any home if there's a bit left in the end haha.
Well folks, that's about it for this one I guess.
Hopefully the gameplay will be enjoyable. I'm hoping no one else says that it's "campy" haha, got a hefty dose of that already.
