Corn grew nicely since the last time I captured it on photos but it definitely needs some maintenance! With all these rains lately, it has been impossible to do any garden work.
Tomatoes are here! All of them were in need of support so they got tied up just to make sure wind and rain doesn't break or drag them down.
And we also have some cucumbers that will be ready for harvest soon. Late spring and summer salads are coming!
As usual, snap peas also got their support in terms of small wood sticks that help them grow more in height and it's a lot easier to harvest them when the time comes.
Onions were cleaned up from all the weeds but it's already time for another round of maintenance. If it doesn't rain these days, some garden work could be done but as of today, the ground is still too wet.
Now, here is something completely new and kind of random - we have watermelon in our garden! My dad got it when he was buying pre-planted peppers (ours didn't grew as well as we hoped) and I have no idea if the soil in our garden is good for growing watermelons but I guess we'll see!
Baby apples! We have two apple trees and I am noticing each year there's more of them growing - similar with some other young fruit trees.
We have been enjoying cherries lately, I am a big fan of this fruit!
The amount of plums on this tree alone is insane! I wonder how they don't weight down the branches.
This is our quince tree, the only one we have now. I think it's enough for us as the only thing we make is quince compote and not all of my family members love it (I am one of them).
For some reason I was forgetting to take photos of the blackberries but today a few flowers caught my eye and I was reminded to capture it.
To end this post, here are some raspberries! I am so excited to just go to the garden, pick some raspberries and eat them on the spot!
Everything looks great. I hope one day to have nice plums like yours.
