Buenos Aires - Argentina: also a city where the people express themselves | MONOMAD CHALLENGE

Hello my dear friends of Liketu and Black and White, it's a pleasure to be here once again in this #monomad challenge! This time I bring you some shots that I took in Buenos Aires on Avenida de Mayo, just arriving to the famous Plaza de Mayo, one day when I was just walking around and I found a demonstration.

When this happens in Mendoza, the city where I live at the moment, the thing is quite particular and may even seem funny now that I can compare it with the reality of Buenos Aires, since you only see a small crowd of people protesting, but in this case there was like a whole block full of people complaining.

I am referring to a demonstration, which is that moment in which people express their discontent, their desires for change and so on. Usually these people belong to a union, and in this case they were demanding an increase in wages.

It was not very safe to be there, as there was even smoke in the area, and there were fences to delimit El Paso from other pedestrians on one side of this huge group of people who were expressing themselves. I still got as close as I could to take pictures.

They are heading towards Plaza de Mayo because that is where the Casa Rosada of Argentina is, which is where the Executive Power of the Nation is located.

I found it quite interesting to take these shots, since it is a reality of Argentina that sometimes from the outside is difficult to understand, because this does not happen everywhere. On the one hand it is something that displeases, because it hurts to see so many people dissatisfied with their situation (most of the times dissatisfied with great justifications really), but on the other hand it is good that the people can express themselves.

I considered that taking them to black and white and bringing them closer to Hive, would be an opportunity to share more of the Argentine reality, as this is something that also makes the country, besides the beautiful thing it has to offer. The crowd and the elements that had led to this demonstration, turned out to be very attractive to the camera.

Buenos Aires - Argentina: también una ciudad en donde el pueblo se expresa

Hola mis queridos amigos de Liketu y de Black and White, ¡es un placer estar por aquí una vez más en este desafío #monomad! En esta oportunidad acerco unas tomas que realicé en Buenos Aires sobre a Avenida de Mayo, ya llegando a la famosa Plaza de Mayo, un día en el que simplemente caminaba por allí y encontré una manifestación.

Cuando esto ocurre en Mendoza, la ciudad en donde vivo en este momento, la cosa es bastante particular y hasta puede parecer graciosa ahora que puedo compararla con la realidad de Buenos Aires, ya que sólo se ve un pequeño amontonamiento de gente protestando, pero en este caso había como una cuadra entera repleta de personas quejándose.

Estoy haciendo referencia a una manifestación, que es ese momento en el cual la gente expresa su descontento, sus deseos de cambio y demás. Por lo general estas personas pertenecen a algún sindicato, y en este caso estaban reclamando por un aumento en los salarios.

Estar allí no era demasiado seguro, pues había hasta humo en el sector, y además habían vallas para delimitar El Paso de otros peatonales a un costado de este enorme grupo de personas que estaban expresándose. Igualmente me acerqué todo lo que pude para tomar fotos.

Se dirigen hacia Plaza de Mayo porque allí está la Casa Rosada de Argentina, que es donde se encuentra el Poder Ejecutivo de la Nación.

Me pareció bastante interesante hacer estas tomas, ya que es una realidad de la Argentina que a veces desde afuera cuesta comprender, pues no en todos lados ocurre esto. Por un lado es algo que desagrada, porque duele ver a tantas personas descontentas con su situación (la mayoría de las veces descontentas con grandes justificaciones realmente), pero por otro lado es bueno que el pueblo pueda expresarse.

Consideré que llevarlas al blanco y negro y acercarlas a Hive, sería una oportunidad de compartir más de la realidad Argentina, ya que esto es algo que también hace al país, además de lo hermoso que tiene por ofrecer. La muchedumbre y los elementos que habían llevado a esta manifestación, resultaron ser muy atractivos a la cámara.
