Günstiger Wohnraum und darauf angewiesenen Mieter verschwinden aus den Städten. Tante Emma - Läden werden durch teure, kalte Concept Stores abgelöst. Wie seht ihr das...? Wie steht ihr zur Gentrifizierung von Städten?
Time-honoured restaurants are disappearing. Time-honoured, cosy districts are being demolished and replaced by modern buildings and upgraded (whose values...?). Cheap housing and the tenants who depend on it are disappearing from the cities. Aunt Emma shops are being replaced by expensive, cold concept shops. How do you see it...? What do you think about the gentrification of cities?
Los restaurantes de toda la vida están desapareciendo. Los barrios antiguos y acogedores están siendo demolidos y sustituidos por edificios modernos y mejorados (¿valores de quién?). Las viviendas baratas y los inquilinos que dependen de ellas están desapareciendo de las ciudades. Las tiendas de la tía Emma están siendo sustituidas por costosas y frías tiendas de concepto. ¿Cómo lo ves...? ¿Qué opina de la gentrificación de las ciudades?

My neighborhood/city has been gentrifying for years, and yeah. Would be one thing if the rent was still affordable in their new "luxury" buildings, both for apartments and local businesses, but no, it's expensive AND bland!
