Today we are going to walk a bit around Havana, following the steps of my previous publication but leaving the pigeons behind. But it will be the streets of Old Havana, the one that takes you back to the old days of cobblestone streets and stained glass windows in the houses. That was the day of walking under the midday sun, so you will notice the contrast.

Standing next to the pigeons I focused on the church nearby and the first image you see was the one I liked the most of the ones I took of it. It is a very well-known church and has already been photographed by thousands, so I didn't want to focus too much on it, but I liked this one. After that, I tried to capture the daily life in the streets, and that's how I did the following ones that remind me of the time when I used to do street photography and I had a series on my blog about it. Maybe I'll take it up again or so I always think but the little time I have makes me discard it, although not completely, there is always the thorn there reminding me of it.

Hoy vamos a caminar un poco la Habana, siguiendo los pasos de mi anterior publicación pero dejando atrás a las palomas. Pero serán las calles de la Habana Vieja, esa que te remonta a los viejos tiempos de las calles empedradas y ventanas con vitrales en las casas. Aquel fue el día de caminar bajo el sol de mediodía, así que el contraste lo notaran.

Estando junto a las palomas me enfoque en la iglesia que está cerca y la primera imagen que ven fue la que más me gusto de las que le hice. Es una iglesia muy conocida y ya fotografiada por miles, así que no quise enfocarme mucho en ella, pero esta me gusto. Luego de eso busqué captar la cotidianidad en las calles, y así fue como hice las siguientes que me recuerdan el tiempo en que realizaba fotografía de Street y tenía una serie en mi blog de ello. Quizás lo retome o eso pienso siempre pero el poco tiempo que tengo me hace desecharlo, aunque no del todo, siempre queda la espina ahí recordándomelo.

Something I noticed is that there are more tourists compared to the pandemic years, but I didn't notice many people passing by, maybe it wasn't the day. Weekends are usually better for that, so the next time I go out for this I will try to do it on a Saturday. When I go out I try to take the photos horizontally because I think they illustrate more in a blog, but there are times when the camera turns itself and the next two were like that. It warranted it and that's why I bring them in this format. Maybe soon we can have templates focused on images around here to structure it the way we want. For now, I hope you like it this way, smaller than how you would see it separated, but in my opinion, they would take up too much space on the screen.

Algo que note es que hay más turistas con respecto a los años de pandemia, pero no note que muchas personas transitaran por donde pase, quizás no era el día. Los fines de semana suelen ser mejor para eso, así que en la próxima excusa que me tome para esto tratare de que sea un sábado. Cuando salgo trato de hacer las fotos en horizontal porque creo ilustran más en un blog, pero hay veces en que la cámara sola se gira y las dos siguientes fueron así. Lo ameritaba y por eso las traigo en este formato. Quizás pronto podamos tener plantillas enfocadas en imágenes por aquí para estructurarlo a la manera que queramos. Por ahora espero que les guste así, más pequeñas que como lo verían separadas, pero en mi opinión serian ocuparían demasiado espacio en la pantalla.

La primera es la misma iglesia que esta al inicio y fue la única en la que el cielo se puso de mi parte y envió algunas nubes con las que jugar. La segunda es la entrada a un banco y me gusta como casi se vuelve una foto en clave alta.
