Abstractions on the sea

Hi all guys and welcome back to my blog. Today I share a watercolor painting bordering on abstraction. The subject is elementary, a seascape with the sun and its reflections on the water, but I wanted to interpret it with an original composition. I went beyond the simple realistic representation with a series of very free brush strokes that border on pictorial abstraction.

The light zones intersect with the blue and purple shadows of the sea waves and the sky is a riot of lights and light rays.
A very unique sunset that I tried to represent in full expressive freedom without looking for the details of the classic landscape.

Astrazioni sul mare

Ciao a tutti ragazzi e ben tornati sul mio blog. Oggi condivido un dipinto ad acquarello al limite dell'astrazione. Il soggetto è elementare, un paesaggio marino con il sole ed i suoi riflessi sull'acqua, ma ho voluto interpretarlo con una composizone originale. Ho superato la semplice rappresentazione realistica con una serie di pennellate molto libere che rasentano l'astrazione pittorica. Le zone di luce si intersecano con le ombre blu e viola delle onde del mare e il cielo è un tripudio di luci e raggi luminosi.

Un tramonto molto singolare che mi ho cercato di rappresentare in piena libertà espressiva senza cercare i particolari del classico paesaggio.

Spero che il mio acquarello vi piaccia, vi mando un abbraccio raggiante.
