- (ITA/ENG) - The staking requirement of Splintershards (SPS) has begun. What will it mean in the game?!?

Buonasera e ben ritrovati a tutti.

Good evening and welcome back to all.

Even this very long and boring working week, full of stress and tensions, has finally come to an end, and even on this Friday, which finally opens the door to a new, long-awaited weekend, here I am back, despite the miss you, with this new post of mine, dedicated to the world of Splinterlands.

Town Hall.png

During the 5 days that have just passed, in fact, there have been plenty of opportunities for confrontation and discussion with those two newcomers who have taken the place of that person, who was a backbone of the company, who had been dealing, for 20 years of the entire production cycle of our products.

Having said that it is certainly not easy to take the place of an element with all that experience, it must however be admitted that the two new entries, for the moment, do not seem to be able to handle the job properly, and above all the girl, she also makes the not insignificant mistake of not admitting it in the slightest, and proves, on the contrary, haughty and arrogant, in every discussion in which she is involved because of the errors which then inevitably come out.

It goes without saying, therefore, that the climate is getting heavier with each passing day, making the days practically eternal, and making us work in increasingly uncomfortable conditions, in an increasingly unhealthy environment, and with all the insecurity of the case.

Unfortunately, however, the very person who should be aware of the matter, and eventually take steps to improve it, seems to be in the dark about everything, or to live, as always, in his own entirely personal world, completely ignoring the situation, and going on on his way, as usual, heedless of everything.

Personally, even if it's not always easy to avoid getting caught up in all too easy anger, I've reached a level of absolute indifference, and I don't want to worry about all of this in the slightest, given that, as far as I'm concerned, the company can also close tomorrow, and think only of looking for viable alternatives, which can take me as far away as possible from this environment.

But these are personal digressions, which have nothing to do with the main subject of my post and, consequently, I would say that the time has come to start talking about the news, I would say decidedly important, if not epochal, coming to Splinterlands .

requirements.png

As you may have understood from the title, in fact, the subject of this post of mine will not concern, as usual, the results of my daily missions, but rather a piece of news that has caused a considerable earthquake within the community of players of this game .

During the last Town Hall, the introduction of a new system was announced shortly, within a couple of months at the most, which will replace the current one, which was based on the Collection Power, therefore linked to the deck of cards owned by us, based on which you had access, or not, to certain game levels, passing instead to one based, on the contrary, on the SPS held in staking, as regards the "Ranked Battle" and the related rewards obtainable.

This news, obviously, as mentioned before, has unleashed a moderate earthquake within the entire community of players, given that it is news of no small importance, which changes, in a decidedly important way, the cards on the table , and, consequently, also the requirements that each of us must meet to get the most out of Splinterlands, if we decide to continue playing it.

In this case, however, unlike the system used previously, we will not be prohibited from accessing the various leagues, given that we will still be able to play, easily, up to the Champions league, if we are able to, but, very simply , even if it is certainly not a trivial matter, if we do not respect certain conditions, we will see the admissible rewards decrease in an increasingly important way.

It goes without saying, therefore, that if we do not want to see the same reduced to a flicker, we should either settle for playing within the levels that suit us in order to be able to receive, in any case, up to the maximum obtainable, or, alternatively, we should adapt, going to buy, or to delegate, since from now on this operation will also be possible, the SPS that we lack to allow us to continue playing, obtaining the best possible returns.

countervalue.png

The problem is that the necessary amounts, in order to hope to obtain similar results, are quite demanding, given that they start from a minimum of about 500 dollars for the first of the Gold leagues, up to a sum that is around 9000, if you want to hope to be able to win the full percentages, within the Champions League I, and it's certainly not about motes.

Anyone who does not meet these requirements will obviously see a considerable reduction in the best Eewards, even if, fortunately, there was an initial misunderstanding, and the decrease in how much you can receive is not proportional to how many SPS we lack compared to those required. but it is calculated, as a percentage formula, according to the table below, which a user, fortunately, has published on the discord group dedicated to the game.

percentuali.png

Having said that, however, it will always be a matter of rather important decreases, and honestly, even if, in my memory, it is a change that had already been announced some time ago, I believe that, at least initially, levels should have been kept somewhat ' lower, perhaps raising them over time, so as to "gild the pill" in a slightly less traumatic way, given the uproar that the news has unleashed.

Many, in fact, see in this move the desire to ensure that Splinterlands becomes, more and more, a game only for the rich, cutting out those who have no intention of investing increasingly important sums within the same, given that, however, as I said above, they are asking for decidedly considerable commitments.

Personally, for the moment, I honestly don't know what to think of this operation, which I must admit has taken me a bit off-balance, and I don't appreciate much, at least, as I said above, for these initial requests, which I would have kept much lower , and then possibly increase them in the future.

In fact, I fear that such a choice could be the cause of a general haemorrhage of many users, who are certainly not ready to invest in such an important way within this game, especially since, momentarily, already the returns lately it's not like they were much, unless it was me who was particularly unlucky, while everyone else is instead getting rich.

Furthermore, I fear that the entry of new users will certainly not be encouraged by the introduction of certain investment thresholds, if one wants to progress within it over time, while, on the other hand, I believe that the number of players, if it wants to give stability to this whole ecosystem, it should increase more and more, and also as quickly as possible, but maybe I could be wrong.

The only positive note that I could glimpse, in reality, but quite relative, could be that of being able to hinder, at least in part, the proliferation of Bots, given that, who up to now has used real Farms of the same, now he will find himself forced to invest sums that are to say the least significant if he wants to continue on the same path, even if, certainly, over time, he may have had the opportunity to put away even more substantial amounts.

As far as I'm concerned, given the results I've managed to get lately, I shouldn't worry too much, since it seems that, even just hoping to get inside the Diamond league, after the difficulty level of this game is again getting higher and higher, is now a mere illusion, and, consequently, with the SPS I have, I should still manage, since I believe that I will continue, presumably, to wander within the Gold leagues, for which I should be at place.

I hope, at least, that, with the introduction of this new modality, there could be the possibility that the SPS can go up again in price, and increase their value, which has gone, away, away, decreasing, even if, in any case , the fact remains that, first of all, they can be delegated, and, therefore, I don't know how much this would influence in favor of a similar result, but, secondly, even if everyone bought these tokens to stake them, there would, however, be a point at which this growth would stop, and I fear that subsequently there would be a new descent, if we don't give more and more use cases to the same, making it more and more fundamental.

In short, a very important decision, if not epochal, which marks a turning point of a certain importance within this game which, for the moment, I honestly don't know how to interpret, reserving the right to evaluate what will happen. from when this will become really effective, i.e. in a couple of months, and from there decide, possibly, which moves to implement, given that, however, the fact always remains that, barring changes in the near future that make me change my mind, for some time now I've been having less and less fun dedicating my attention to Splinterlands, and, consequently, I'm evaluating, more and more, new ways to exploit it only economically speaking, leaving aside the playful side.

As I have already said on other occasions, in fact, I consider my time very precious, and given that the same is an increasingly rare and difficult to find asset, I find myself experiencing the feeling of wasting the same when I dedicate it to missions daily on this game, it's not something I like very much, since I prefer to use it for other things that I consider more important, in case, and, consequently, all the more in the light of this umpteenth situation that will arise, I will have to carefully evaluate the moves to be implemented.

Now, however, I don't want to bore you further, and, consequently, for the moment, there is nothing left for me to do but wish you a good evening, and invite you, if you still feel like it, to continue reading my posts and to follow me.

the game forced us to realize what class we belong to

good analysis

In reality, if I remember correctly, the thing had already been announced a long time ago, but finding myself faced with the actual implementation of this decision took me a bit off balance, and I honestly don't know what to think of it.

In fact, I admit that the thresholds to be respected are really quite demanding, and I don't know how many are able to afford them to continue playing, and hope to get the best rewards.

Without thinking, then, of all of you new users who, right from the start, will find themselves faced with a considerable obstacle to their entry, knowing that they must not only invest to buy the necessary cards, but also, over time , make more money to comply with these new rules.

If it is true, in fact, that it will still be possible to play, and climb the various leagues, even without necessarily having to invest these sums, it is also true that, not doing so, would lead to receiving practically nothing from the daily missions, and I think , consequently, also from the trunks at the end of the season, making the time dedicated to daily clashes practically thrown away.

I therefore admit that, at least for the moment, I have several doubts about this thing, and I reserve the right to evaluate everything better when these choices are actually implemented within the game, in a couple of months

  • eliminare i bots
