I posted the other day about how @flowerbaby and I finally put up our very first Christmas tree together. This will be our third Christmas together, so it took a while to finally get a tree. All thanks to her of course.
In that first post, I mentioned that we needed a tree skirt to finish the job. We went to the store to look for one and of course, found some more ornaments to use so the tree wouldn't have any bare spots. While browsing the massive selection of decorations, we eventually stumbled upon the tree skirt sections. The cheapest was an ugly red felt one for $5. That wasn't going to work and we ended up going with a soft velvet red skirt with shiny sequins scattered evenly throughout it. This one actually matches the stockings that we hung on the wall very well.
When we got home @flowerbaby placed all of the ornaments in the spots that needed some decorating. Then, we decided it was time for us to take photos of each other/together with the tree. I'm sure these won't be the only Christmas photos we take this year, but they are certainly the first.
We always have fun taking photos together, especially when we get to do it in the comfort of our own little home. We can be silly and serious and sometimes a mixture of both. As you will notice in the results of our photo session.
My favorite of the bunch has to be the three photos of @flowerbaby sitting cross-legged in front of the tree. She makes a serious face, a silly face, and a normal smile. All of which I love equally.
The day after Thanksgiving is when most people will take the time to put up their Christmas trees. Luckily for us, that task is already completed and we get to enjoy the holiday decorations for even longer than most people.
Christmas will be here before we know it. Although I'm not huge on gift-giving or any made-up stories about Christmas, I do enjoy getting to spend time with my family and eating good food together.

There is love in your eyes. Love is the most natural feeling that is always present in our lives and makes us who we are. The fact that we are sometimes deprived of this feeling that makes us who we are also causes some problems. Therefore, a person should reflect his feelings with words of love to those he cares about, and show his love with emotional, impressive and romantic messages.
It is easy to love when someone loves you just the same. It is difficult to love when you do not have anybody willing to love you. When you find it, it is best not to give up when pressure is applied.
Not always. Not necessarily. For some reason I loved one of my classmates in middle school very deeply. She was my first (and so far my only) love. But she did not loved me. The feeling of love is natural. True and deep. There is nothing difficult about feeling the love. But the fact that she did not loved me, and that she intentionally kissed another guy in front of me, and that she started to be with that guy back was painful. And the fact that she dropped that guy after the end of the school), and she started to be with another guy was weird. This was between 2007 and 2012.
I felt the emptiness and being very alone. And I felt and I feel as if this was killed a part of me. And/or partially the capability of feeling love towards others. It is difficult to explain. And I still think about her (after one decade). Probably I will keep thinking about her until the end of my current earthly life. And I do not even know why. It was my first (and so far my only) love. Probably some people know and understand what I felt and what I feel. Maybe people, who felt/feel very deep love towards someone (either towards a person or towards an animal) felt/feel the same (or something similar) as me.
True. I had the same thing happen to me in the past when I was younger. I healed from it though and so can you.
It always amuses me how almost always men refuse to decorate and then end up loving it! My boyfriend had never had Christmas in his home, nor in his childhood, and a year ago we decorated our home for the first time. Treasuring those moments is pure magic.
I grew up with decorations but seemed to outgrow them for many years. Not so bad once they are up and you get to enjoy them.
the process can be tedious but the result is worth it
Awesome photos man! Love it. We’ve got our tree on the car right now as I’m typing this lol took a quick break driving. Got it from a farm like 40 miles away so we don’t want to drive on the highway with it lol.
I enjoyed these early memories with my wife for sure! I enjoy them now of course but the early ones were nice!
