This is Valdesquí Snow Resort in Madrid [ENG-ESP]

My favorite day of the whole trip in Madrid was when we went to the snow. So much happened that day and after my phone was stolen, I was able to buy another one at a lower price.

This day started early in the morning. Since Venezuela I wanted not only to go to the snow, but to go skiing; it is the best thing you can do in life, highly recommended. However due to all the expenses I had to make (including paying twice for a phone) I could not afford the price of the entrance fee to the ski slopes, which was 40€, plus the rentals which in total exceeded 100€; besides I was not going to ski by myself when there were four of us, so I had to invite. Better when I go alone I ski 🤣.

I think this might be the best plan to do in winter. Only with 5€ you are already in that paradise. You can bring whatever you want and have a picnic, but we just brought some sandwiches. There is also a cafe there and it is not at all expensive; they sell a divine hot chocolate and even hamburgers.

I was dismayed to see the ski slopes. I was looking forward to it too much, although I like the slopes in Chile better, since not all of them are straight; there are some that are like trails and it is more fun. In these what varies is the slope because they are all the same.

I especially remember the weather. A radiant sun and the purest air you can breathe; in fact for a moment I took off my jacket because I felt hot, even though it was 9 degrees.

You can go up the mountain and see incredible landscapes. In the last picture you can see what we climbed. To get to this ski resort takes an hour by bus from Madrid, Moncloa metro station. You have to be there early in the morning and it's best if it's not a weekend, because the lines are crazy. A weekday is super relaxed.

There are two ski slopes, we went to the last one: Valdesquí.

It is something super you can do in Madrid with little money. You can also take plastic sleds that cost 2 € in Decatlon. I recommend it.

Mi día favorito de todo el viaje en Madrid, fue cuando fuimos a la nieve. Ese día pasaron tantas cosas y que después que me robaran el teléfono, pude comprar otro a menor precio.

Este día comenzó bien temprano. Desde Venezuela quería no solo ir a la nieve, sino esquiar; es lo mejor que puedes hacer en la vida, altamente recomendado. Sin embargo debido a todos los gastos que tuve que hacer (incluido pagar dos veces un teléfono) no podía pagar el precio de la entrada a las pistas de esquí, que eran 40€, más los alquileres que en total superaban los 100€; además no iba a esquiar yo solo cuando fuimos cuatro, así que tenía que invitar. Mejor cuando vaya solo esquío 🤣

Pienso que este podría ser el mejor plan para hacer en invierno. Solo con 5€ ya estás en ese paraíso. Puedes llevar lo que quieras y hacer un picnic, pero solo llevamos unos sándwich. Allá también hay un cafetín y no es para nada caro; venden un chocolate caliente divino y hasta hamburguesas.

Vi con desconsuelo las pistas de esquí. Tenía demasiadas ganas, aunque las pistas en Chile me gustan más, ya que no todas son rectas; hay algunas que son como senderos y es más divertido. En estas lo que varía es la inclinación porque todas son iguales.

Recuerdo especialmente el clima. Un Sol radiante y el aire más puro que puedas respirar; de hecho por un momento me quité la chaqueta porque me dio calor, aunque estábamos a 9 grados.

Se puede subir por la montaña y ver paisajes increíbles. En la última foto se aprecia lo que subimos. Llegar a esta estación de esquí demora una hora en bus desde Madrid, estación de metro Moncloa. Hay que estar bien temprano y lo mejor es que no sea fin de semana, porque las colas son de locos. Un día entre semana es súper relajado.

Es algo súper que puedes hacer en Madrid con poco dinero. También puedes llevar trineos de plástico que valen 2€ en Decatlon. Te lo recomiendo.
