The National Park "La Llovizna " located in the State of Bolivar, Venezuela, is one of the places that if you have the opportunity, you can not miss. Totally imposing and majestic, I sincerely believe that any word would fall short when trying to describe it.
And the fact is that here you will find the waterfall "La Llovizna ", an imposing waterfall that if you come to visit the park, you will realize why it gets its name, because when you pass near it, you will inevitably be splashed thanks to the force with which the water falls, creating a kind of "drizzle ".
I had the joy of visiting this natural beauty a few years ago, in what was the first vacation trip with my husband and we definitely could not have chosen a better place to go and Bolivar state has so many beautiful places to visit that it would be a sin not to do so.
And since I don't want to sound like Wikipedia, I won't tell you how many hectares of land it has, nor when it was constituted as a national park, but what I will do is tell you that if you want to know what it's like to feel alive and thankful for the blessing of being Venezuelan, this is one of the places where you will definitely feel it.
To visit it, you need to have a full day, because it is huge and although I do not know in what condition it is today in the middle of the first decade of 2000 was super care and my husband and I walked as much as we could, we explored and toured every corner of that little piece of heaven that gives us our land.
At that time they had some little pedal boats to navigate the lake, but at that time I had not developed my adventurous streak (it still is), so I was afraid to go up and there was no way Jose could convince me, so we just took pictures of the lake and its surroundings.
Today when I see the pictures I can't help but imagine how happy my children would be if they had the opportunity to visit La Llovizna Park, because unlike their mom, they are quite adventurous and would not hesitate to live every experience in that magical place.

El Parque Nacional "La Llovizna", no necesita ubicado en el Estado Bolívar, Venezuela, es uno de los lugares que si tienes la oportunidad, no puedes dejar de visitar. Totalmente imponente y majestuoso, sinceramente creo que cualquier palabra se quedaría corta al tratar de describirlo.
Y es que en el se encuentra el salto "La Llovizna", una imponente caída de agua que si llegan a visitar el parque, se darán cuenta por qué recibe su nombre, pues al pasar cerca de ella, inevitablemente serás salpicado gracias a la fuerza con la que cae el agua, creando una especie de "llovizna".
Tuve la dicha de visitar esta belleza natural unos cuantos años atrás, en lo que fue el primer viaje de vacaciones junto a mí esposo y definitivamente no pudimos haber escogido mejor lugar para ir y es que el estado Bolívar, cuenta con tantos lugares hermosos para visitar que pudiendo ir sería un pecado no hacerlo.
Y como no quiero sonar a Wikipedia, no les diré las hectáreas de terreno que tiene, ni cuando fue constituido como parque nacional, pero lo que sí haré es comentarles que si quieren saber lo que es sentirse vivos y agradecer la bendición de ser Venezolanos, ése es uno de los lugares en los que definitivamente lo sentirás.
Para visitarlo, necesitas disponer de un día completo, porque es enorme y aunque no sé en qué condiciones se encuentra hoy día a mediados de la primera década del 2000 estaba súper cuidado y con mi esposo caminamos todo lo que pudimos, exploramos y recorrimos cada rincón de ése pedacito de cielo que nos regala nuestra tierra.
En esa oportunidad tenían unos botecitos de pedales para navegar en el lago, pero en ése tiempo no había desarrollado mi vena aventurera (sigue siendo así), por lo que me dió miedo subir y no hubo manera de que José logrará convencerme, así que sólo tomamos fotos del lago y de sus alrededores.
Hoy al ver las fotos no puedo dejar de imaginar lo felices que serían mis hijos si tuviesen la oportunidad de visitar el Parque La Llovizna, porque ellos a diferencia de su mamá, son bastante aventureros y no dudarían en vivir cada experiencia en ése mágico lugar.
Sólo me resta decirles que si vienen de visita, viven cerca o tienen la oportunidad, éste es uno de los lugares que son visita obligada en el estado Bolívar. Besitos y bendiciones gente!
