Cats and dogs are constantly looking for something to gnaw at. Usually these are plants, socks, slippers and cables. My adopted kitten, on the other hand, loves to gnaw on cables and plants. She's especially obsessed with my palm plant.

When he came home, he was constantly scratching the soil in my pots, making soil everywhere. Don't be fooled by how cute she looks. She is a complete plant monster. I started looking for natural ways to not harm my plants.

It amazes me that he is particularly obsessed with my favorite plant. I constantly move my plant to different places in the house. I think the many leaves seem like a toy to him. In this photo you see my Areca plant, which my cat gnaws at its leaves.

I needed to get this sweet beast away from my plants. I decided to tackle this issue with scents that my cats might not like. As you know, cats do not like citrus or anything with a strong smell. I had to use this technique.

Rose has a very important place in our religion.I always have rose oil at home, which I use for meditation and beautiful frequencies.I randomly dripped this oil onto the leaves of my plants. When the smell started to spread,my cat immediately walked away.

I used citrus peels for the soil at the bottom of the pot. I placed the tangerine peels I ate in the potting soil. So my cat, who got the smell, stopped digging the bottom of my flower pot. When the shells rotted, I constantly renewed them.

My cat hasn't touched my plants for a week after the treatments. I did not neglect to renew the rose scent every two or three days. I will continue this process until it stops harming my plants. I used to rub natural oil on my hands before for my other cat who wanted to bite my hands. That way I stopped biting my hands. I am sure I will remove it from my plants with the same technique. In such situations, getting angry with cats is not the solution. They're not doing it voluntarily anyway. They do it either when they want to play or when they are stressed. Therefore, instead of getting angry, it would be most logical to quit these habits with natural methods.
I solved this problem naturally without harming my cat.

If any of you have similar problems, they should definitely try this method. I will also try using lavender oil from time to time. By the way, your cat may like the smell instead of surprising you and being annoyed by the smell. For example, some cats love lavender, but my cat doesn't. If your cat is not bothered when you try it, you can try other scents. However, you should do this with plant extracts and oils that will not harm them.

My flowers and cats are much happier now. I am happy because they are happy. Now she is playing with her newly discovered handmade toy. You can also use this method for items in your home that your cat has damaged. For example, I put some fragrance on the cable so that it doesn't gnaw on my computer charging cable. Luckily he stopped biting. It scared me that it would be damaged rather than damage the cable. After all, electricity is dangerous. When gnawing on the cable plugged into the outlet, the electric current may strike. The same goes for the plant. While gnawing the plant, its component damages it and can be poisoned. In fact, what I'm doing is purely for his own good. After all, I can buy myself a new plant or charging cable, but I cannot bring back my damaged cat. It is much more valuable to me.
