A Toledo journey
A wonderful 12-hour journey...
It all started one day in Madrid, my aunt, my cousins and I decided to go to Toledo. Toledo is a municipality that belongs to the Spanish province of Castilla - La Mancha. It is a place full of culture and history and we wanted to get to know it.
For this, we communicate with a travel agency that makes short walks -of a day- to different provinces of Spain. We take the walk to Toledo, it was a 10 hour walk (1 hour trip, 8 hours of walking in the city and 1 hour trip back). It had a cost of 15 euros per person.
Esta soy yo esperando el bus que nos recogería // This is me waiting at the bus to pick us.
When the bus picked us up from a bus stop in the center of Madrid, we started our trip to Toledo, the trip was really short. While we were traveling on the highway, a tourist guide told us a bit about the history of Toledo

Approximately 30-40 minutes later we were in Toledo, the bus dropped us at the door of * Historic City of Toledo *, in this way the historic center of Toledo is known. The place left me speechless, it is really beautiful, I have never seen anything like this.

Once we enter, the city is full of very narrow streets. Everything is made of stone and it is all very beautiful. We even found a tunnel in the middle of a street.
As we walked, we could see that the city is completely walled and full of historical buildings such as the fortress that you will see in the following photo:
One of the things I learned from this wonderful place is that Toledo was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for being full of history of so many civilizations that inhabited it and whose buildings still remain intact.
