How I produce my eggless chinchin at home

in GEMS3 years ago

Hi Hiveians,
Checking through my junk store,I noticed that my chinchin level is low which means I have to stock up on my chinchin but unfortunately I'm out of eggs so I decided to try out what eggless Chinchin will feel like.

Ingredients used
Flour
Margarine
Sugar
Milk
Baking powder
Nutmeg
Milk flavor
A pinch of salt
Water

I measured in my flour, then added my baking powder, nutmeg, powder milk flavor, sugar and mixed it all together. Then I added my margarine and mixed it with the dry ingredients making it look like bread crumbs, then I added my milk and a little water and mixed it to form a somewhat sticky dough.

Then I prepared my work surface and sprinkled flour on it, put my dough and kneaded it thoroughly for about 5 minutes to make it very stretchy and non sticky, then I covered it with a plastic wrap and allowed it to rest for about 15minutes.
Took my rolling pin to flatten it and I cut it into desired shape and size.

Then I fried it in hot oil till golden brown.
