¡Hola Chicos!
El juego #Splinterlands forma parte importante de mi vida desde hace algún tiempo. Hemos logrado grandes cosas gracias a él y aunque no soy jugadora experta, me he sabido defender y ganar a lo largo de este tiempo cartas geniales.
Al principio me pareció difícil de entender, pero gracias a dos compañeros de #Hive (uno me regalo un mazo de cartas y otro me enseñó a jugar) me inicié en el mundo de en aquel entonces @Steemmonsters y quedé enganchada.
Es genial porque la comunidad ha crecido con el tiempo y con ello también se han creado concursos semanales relacionados con el juego. Una forma genial de motivar a los jugadores y premiarlos con recompensas fuera del juego.
El que me ha llamado la atención desde siempre ha sido el de arte, aunque no me había atrevido a participar, hasta ahora...

The #Splinterlands game has been an important part of my life for some time. We have achieved great things thanks to him and although I am not an expert player, I have managed to defend and win great cards throughout this time.
At first it seemed difficult to understand, but thanks to two #Hive colleagues (one gave me a deck of cards and another taught me how to play) I started in the world of back then @Steemmonsters and I was hooked.
It's great because the community has grown over time and this has also created weekly contests related to the game. A great way to motivate players and reward them with rewards outside of the game.
The one that has always caught my attention has been art, although I had not dared to participate, until now ...
Hay muchas cartas con un arte genial que me gustaría recrear, pero quise comenzar por las favoritas dentro de mi mazo.
CORNEALUS es una de mis cartas favoritas, aunque no siempre el maná me permite usarla.😅
Desde siempre, los ojos han tenido un significado especial en mi vida, fue uno de los primeros motivos que me atreví a dibujar cuando comencé el camino del arte y este en particular me encanta porque además tiene mi color favorito. ♥
Quise sacarlo de su estado natural dentro de la carta y pintarlo en su ambiente, solo el ojo y el fondo.
Para este trabajo he utilizado pinturas al óleo, algo con lo que me defiendo bastante bien.
Como lienzo utilicé un pequeño trozo de madera reciclada que previamente había pintado con pintura al frío de color negro.
There are many cards with great art that I would like to recreate, but I wanted to start with the favorites in my deck.
CORNEALUS is one of my favorite cards, although mana doesn't always allow me to use it.
Eyes have always had a special meaning in my life, it was one of the first motifs that I dared to draw when I started the path of art and I love this one in particular because it also has my favorite color. ♥
I wanted to remove it from its natural state within the letter and paint it in its environment, only the eye and the background.
For this work I have used oil paints, something with which I defend myself quite well.
As a canvas I used a small piece of recycled wood that I had previously painted with cold black paint.
Para mi pequeña obra he trazado las líneas de base con un lápiz, todo directo sobre la madera.
Luego comencé con el color blanco del ojo, algo super importante porque es un color que se "ensucia" con facilidad y necesito que quede bien pulcro desde el principio.
En el arte no existe un orden ni parámetros establecidos de cómo debemos pintar nuestras obras. Hay quienes comienzan pintando el fondo completamente y sobre él crean las figuras, pero yo no me puedo dar este lujo pues el óleo demora días en secar dependiendo de cuantas capas apliquemos y yo no quería esperar tanto para poder concluir la obra, por lo que prefiero ir trabajando por secciones, comenzando con el protagonista de la misma.

Then I started with the white color of the eye, something super important because it is a color that 'gets dirty' easily and I need it to be very neat from the beginning.
In art there is no order or established parameters of how we should paint our works. There are those who begin by painting the background completely and on it they create the figures, but I cannot afford this luxury because the oil takes days to dry depending on how many layers we apply and I did not want to wait so long to finish the work, so I prefer work in sections, starting with the protagonist of it.
Por supuesto el ojo en la carta no es completamente blanco puro. He creado pequeñas sombras con un poco de violeta y gris azulado mezclado ligeramente con blanco.
Luego he creado un violeta claro para pintar la pupila, y con un poco de blanco he creado las líneas en el interior. También pinté las luces en su interior con blanco.
Of course the eye on the chart is not completely pure white. I have created small shadows with a bit of violet and blue-gray mixed slightly with white.
Then I have created a light purple to paint the pupil, and with a little white I have created the lines inside. I also painted the lights inside with white.
Hice las venas que rodean el ojo mezclando con un poco de rosa y violeta y la base del ojo en los mismos tonos degradados.
Ya solo restaba hacer el fondo y los detalles faltantes, para esto utilicé todos los colores que quedaban en mi paleta sin utilizar y cree un degradado similar al de la carta.
El resultado final me gustó mucho, y aunque no quedo exactamente igual siento que se asemeja y al mismo tiempo representa mi estilo de pintura. ♥
Espero pronto poder recrear más cartas tan geniales como esta. 😊
I made the veins around the eye mixing with a little pink and purple and the base of the eye in the same gradient tones.
It only remained to make the background and the missing details, for this I used all the colors that were left in my unused palette and created a gradient similar to the one on the letter.
I really liked the end result, and although it is not exactly the same, I feel that it resembles and at the same time represents my style of painting. ♥
I look forward to recreating more cards as cool as this one soon. 😊
