Our Masterclass on "Getting Started As An Hiver" Was A Success With 222 Participants || Hive Bootcamp Hub Weekly Report

We are glad to have you here again on our blog. Do well to follow this article till the very end as we give you a report of how our weekly activities went.

As you all know that in Hive Bootcamp Hub, our aim is to help the Hive Blockchain grow by helping to onboard and teach new users how the Hive Blockchain works. And as such, we hosted a masterclass yesterday introducing newbies to the Hive platform. The class was facilitated by the Founder of our great community in the person of @olasamuel and it lasted for about three hours in a closed whatsapp group with 222 participants attending the class.

Initially, the class was supposed to last for just an hour as it was specified in the announcement flyer and post. But, there were too much to cover that we couldn't even realize we already spent as much as 3 hours in the process.

The class started with a definition of what Hive is all about and a brief history of how Hive came into existence right from the time of the Justin Sun hostile takeover of Steem.

Also, we gave the Newbies a walk through the Hive platform teaching them about the features, core and value of the platform. We also went practical by providing them with screnshots of how to create and publish an article on the platform, how to post in the right community and so on.

Afterwards, we discussed about the basic Hive rules because we don't want our newbies to fall victim of plagiarism, and we were to patient enough to attend to all their questions just to make sure they thrive as a content creator on the Hive platform.
