MY PREPARATION FOR THE JULY Hive Power Up Day (HPUD) on 7/1/20

Another month is almost here to participate in the Hive Power Up Day. This will be the HPUD for July, 2020. I anxiously awaited the announcement so that I could get ready to publish my Pre-Hive Power Up post. I thank @theterminal staff for introducing me to the power up day last year. I have powered up each month since then. Also, as part of the Terminal's Redfish Rally Monthly Delegation, the Ralliers for June are gearing up to participate in the July HPUD. This is a great incentive for them and teaches them the importance of supporting the Hive blockchain.

When I read the announcement for announcement for the July 1 HPUD from @traciyork, who is assisting with the HPUD on behalf of @streetstyle in his absence, I was excited that this initiative would continue.

However, upon reading the post, I see there are some changes for July.

CHANGES FOR THE JULY HIVE POWER UP DAY:

• Minimum Hive Power requirement: lowered from 300HP to 100HP.

• Pre-Hive PUD post prior to July 1 Power Up has been eliminated. That means there is no need to publish 2 posts. One before the day, and one on the day of the power up.

• So, for the first day of the month @traciyork asks that:

1. everyone who can do so, power up any amount of HIVE they are holding on the first of the month.
2. accounts that are currently powering down to please pause the power down during the hours of the first of the month.
3. those who are trading and/or selling Hive, not to do so during the hours of the first of the month (and if possible, cancel any type of sell order on any exchanges for the same hours).

• Special RedFish Rally prize for July:

Ten (10) qualifying RedFish Rally participants will EACH receive:

Use HIVEPUD hash tag so that your posts can be located quickly.

The winners MUST meet all 4 requirements, and it will be based on the Biggest HIVE Power Up PERCENTAGE, not the biggest Power Up. This means that it will be based on the ratio between your current amount of HIVE Power and the amount you power up on the 1st.
