Qurator's Monday Missions | Wild Snake Makeup

in GEMS4 years ago

Hello Hive Community!

This is my participation in the @qurator contest monday missions. The truth is that when I saw the contest I didn't know what to do, then I came up with this idea of a wild makeup, so I decided to be inspired by my friend the snake and create this art to show my wild side.

My friends say that I look like a snake, especially in the poison, they actually scare me a little bit. Although maybe a little bit of poison doesn't hurt anyone.

Here I show you how to do this artistic makeup on half of the face.

Products to be used

  • Eye and face brushes.

  • Clear concealer or primer.

  • Shadow palette or loose/pressed pigments.

  • Liquid eyeliner.

  • False eyelashes.

  • Foundation.

  • Sealing powder.

  • Pencil, shadow or eyebrow ointment

  • Highlight.

  • Mesh.

Tutorial

  • First of all you have to cleanse your face and have it well hydrated, this is a fundamental step for the products to be used to look incredible on your skin.

  • Start with the eyes, in case any shadow residue falls on them to clean them.

  • Prepare my eyelid with an almost white concealer, to even out the tone.

  • The first shadow to apply is a green one, making a kind of eyeliner with a brush to apply.

  • Concentrate the color and then blur it all over the eyelid.

  • Then I intensify the green and add a yellow tone at the top of the fold, almost touching the eyebrow.

  • And then I apply a black shadow on the lash line and pull it out a little bit.

  • Now I use a very black liquid eyeliner with a thin brush.

  • Making a rather exaggerated cat eyeliner with a spike in the teardrop.

  • Leaving the eyes aside for a moment, I proceed to make the skin.

  • I apply foundation, concealer to illuminate and loose powder to seal the entire face. I apply them all with a brush.

  • To make the illusion of snake skin, I apply the same green and yellow shadows that I use on the eyelid.

  • Positioning them in the line of my brow, under the cheekbone and a little on the forehead.

  • I also make dimension with a mesh, putting black shadow on top.

  • I go back to finish the eyes, putting exaggerated false eyelashes.

  • Putting a metallic yellow spot on the teardrop.

  • And applying the green, black and yellow shadows on the bottom line of the eyelashes.

  • I also make my eyebrow a little messy and up.

  • To finish the makeup I apply illuminator with green undertone.

  • I intensify the illusion of "snakeskin" with the black mesh and shadow.

  • And in the middle of my lip I apply the same illuminator I applied to the face.

That's how today's makeup looks, for this wild contest.

We all have a wild side inside, this is mine.
