Hoy quiero mostrarles extractos de uno de mis recitales, en el cual interpreté La Lista de Schindler, y también hablarles un poco sobre mi experiencia ese día. ¡Espero que les guste!

Today I want to show you excerpts from one of my recitals, in which I performed Schindler's List, and also tell you a bit about my experience that day. Hope you enjoy it!

Antes de la cuarentena, tuve el placer de participar en el concierto de música de películas como invitada del Quinteto Cantabile. Aquí les dejo un post de @andresjcoboe en el cual les habla sobre esta agrupación, la música de películas y este increíble concierto.

Before quarantine, I had the pleasure of performing in the movies soundtrack concert as a guest of the Cantabile Quintet. Here is a post by @andresjcoboe in which he talks about this group, the music from movies and this incredible concert.

La Lista de Schindler es una película dirigida por Steven Spielberg, basada en la novela del escritor australiano Thomas Keneally, El Arca de Schindler. Al ser una película sobre La Segunda Guerra Mundial, es muy dramática y está llena de una gran carga emocional. La banda sonora de esta película fue escrita por el reconocido compositor John Williams, y el tema principal es interpretado por un violín solista.

Schindler's List is a film directed by Steven Spielberg, based on Australian writer Thomas Keneally's novel, Schindler's Ark. Being a film about World War II, it is very dramatic and full of great emotional charge. The soundtrack of this movie was written by the recognized composer John Williams, and its main theme is performed by a violinist.

Como pueden observar en el video, toqué descalza, pero realmente no fue planeado desde el principio. Ese día olvidé mis zapatos de concierto, y una amiga me prestó los suyos, pero eran demasiado altos, y cuando toco parada siendo que no me relajo de la misma forma cuando uso tacones altos, así que mis compañeros del quinteto me sugirieron tocar descalza, ya que era un concierto de película podría ser divertido.

As you can see in the video, I played barefoot, but it was not really planned from the beginning. That day I forgot my concert shoes, and a friend lent me hers, but they were too high, and when I play standing, I do not relax the same way when I wear high heels, so my quintet colleagues suggested I play barefoot, since it was a movie concert it could be fun.

El concierto fue un éxito, incluso unas personas del público lloraron cuando toqué La Lista de Schindler, fue una sensación satisfactoria, y realmente disfruté tocar esta pieza, porque me encanta.

The concert was a success, even some people in the audience cried when I played Schindler's List, it was a satisfying feeling, and I really enjoyed playing this piece, because I love it.

Estoy muy agradecida por haber tenido la oportunidad de compartir escenario con estos increíbles músicos, quienes son también mis compañeros de la Orquesta Sinfónica Simón Bolívar de Venezuela. Aquí les dejo el extracto final de mi interpretación. Espero y les guste.

I feel grateful for have had the opportunity to share the stage with this incredible musicians, who are also my colleagues from Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela. Here I attached an excerpt of the end of my performance. I hope you like it.
