Hola comunidad de Hive! Estoy muy feliz por presentarme en este espacio pues tenía mucho tiempo queriendo escribir en un blog, y creo que no pude haber encontrado una alternativa tan divertida e innovadora como esta. Mi nombre es Melany, nací y crecí en Venezuela y todas las experiencias que he vivido me han convertido en la persona entusiasta, proactiva y siempre soñadora que soy hoy en día.
Hello Hive community! I’m very happy to present myself in this space because I had wanted to blog for a long time, and I think I couldn’t have found an alternative as fun and innovative as this one. My name is Melany, I was born and raised in Venezuela and all the experiences I have lived have made me the enthusiastic, proactive and always dreamy person that I am today.
Estudio Historia del Arte, carrera que poco a poco me ha demostrado que la belleza, más allá de un adjetivo que caracteriza a las cosas materiales, es una sensación que como decía Jorge Luis Borges, es o no es sentida; algo que nos mueve desde lo más profundo de nuestro interior. Estudio algo que me permite estar en constante contacto con esa sensación tan íntima, que me hace inmensamente feliz y que poco a poco me ha permitido ampliar mi perspectiva del mundo que me rodea, sentirlo con mayor profundidad y entenderlo mucho mejor (al menos eso intento).
I’m studying Art History, a career that little by little has shown me that beauty, seen beyond an adjective that characterizes material things, is a sensation that, as Jorge Luis Borges said, is or isn’t felt; something that moves us from the depths of our interior. I study something that allows me to be in constant contact with that intimate feeling, that makes me immensely happy and that little by little has allowed me to broaden my perspective of the world that surrounds me, feel it more deeply and understand it much better (at least I’m trying).

Mi carrera me ha permitido enamorarme aún más de la lectura y la escritura, y me hace feliz saber que algún día las imágenes, formas y colores que nos han caracterizado y construido como sociedad, tanto en mí país como alrededor del mundo, serán mi material de trabajo. Mientras tanto, me complace mucho poder hacer ambas para entretenerme y además estar en contacto con personas con opiniones tan similares o tan opuestas a las mías, pues de ambas se puede aprender un montón. Es por ello que mi hermana @melisarm y yo, decidimos compartir nuestros sueños, y escoger como acompañante en este trayecto a Hive, una plataforma repleta de comunidades en las que la creatividad, la pasión y las ideas son constantemente aplaudidas y fomentadas.
My career has allowed me to fall in love, even more, with reading and writing, and it makes me happy to know that one day the images, shapes and colors that have characterized and built us as a society, both in my country and around the world, will be my work material. In the meantime, I am very pleased to be able to entertain myself and also to be in contact with people with opinions so similar or so opposite to mine, because you can learn a lot from both. That is why my sister @melisarm and I decided to share our dreams, and choose Hive as a companion on this journey, a platform full of communities in which creativity, passion and ideas are constantly applauded and encouraged.

Además de mi pasión por todo aquello que me inspira y conmueve, creo que en esta plataforma puedo desarrollar e indagar aún más en mi amor por la escritura, y eso mismo es lo que puedo compartir con ustedes: mi creatividad y mis palabras honestas.
In addition to my passion for everything that inspires and moves me, I believe that on this platform I can further develop and keep on exploring my love for writing, and that is what I can share with you: my creativity and my honest words.
