My mum is celebrating her 61st birthday today, July 30th . My mum doesn't look like she's already on the senior citizens' demographic. She retired early from her job as District Manager for a big company that sells medicine in the Philippines. This is to take care of my ailing father after he retired from being a seaman.
She's really taking good care of herself. She wakes up every day at 5 AM to drink water and at 6 AM she starts to exercise. She's an active member of a local Zumba group and before the pandemic, they would have a Zumba session 5 days a week.
We also prepared a simple feast for her. We cooked pork and chicken barbecue and we ordered some pizza and cake. You can watch the video of how we prepared the barbecue here:

My mum always prays and she is very kind. She's helpful to others and thoughtful. She may be outspoken most of the time but she befriends everyone she gets in contact with.
