It is late April and the Spring forest is at its greenest... New leaves have already unfolded, almost translucent... Everything is covered in filtered shimmering green light. So I decided to take the day off last weekend to reconnect with Mother Nature, ground and heal. And it seems that once you gift your heart to the woods, the forest signs its love back to you, just when you most need it. Isn't that magic?

Tolkien (writer of "The Lord of the rings" once wrote Not all who wander are lost and I resonate with that. So in my meanderings through the green I found the heart of the forest... or was it maybe my own heart?

It was not a human mark or paint... It was a perfectly shaped patch of living and growing moss and lichen clearly patterned on the bark, and among all the hundreds of slender and tall beech trees, it met my eyes, stirred my soul, led my trembling fingers to caress it and embrace the message it carried. "The love you get is the love you give".

Somehow it also reminded me I've neglected my self-love a little, and encouraged me to find again my self-worth and thus I shed a tear, and I felt connected with it all... bewildered as I'm part of something so magnificent and enormous as Nature is and humbled as we're just a tiny speck of it ALL. I got barefoot and run, despite the kindling and thorns... and I span beneath the canopy full of the gift the forest gave me.

Stay tuned for a music video. Estad atentos porque filmamos un video

As I always say, this is where I mostly get inspired, and the place was so beautiful and I was so inspired that something was born from this experience... I need some time to edit it... but definitely soon. I hope to get it finished before Spring ends.

“Forest Bathing” (in Japanese Shinrin-yoku) is a healing Nature therapy recognized in Japan since the 80s I often practise, and it has been proved to work for me and for many who have tried. It is simply means to go into the woods and feel at peace. Here I come for solace, to be in tune with my thoughts, to get inspired, to let my worries go and keep my stress at bay. Anchor myself in the present moment. If you do not have access to the forest, go to a green area or a park, hug a tree. There is also science behind it, I've written about it before if you check way back into my blog. Trees releases essential oils that relax you and also hugging one makes you release an hormone called "oxytocin" which actually is responsible of feelings of "love and bonding" the chemical of happiness. Be grateful of Nature. Earth Day was barely last week but don't forget everyday is Earth's day. When was the last time you hugged a tree?

During our hike we found this ancient Dolmen. Remnants of a past long time forgotten... All returns to Nature.

The spring forest is so beautiful!
Our spring is just starting here.
To find a heart like that is really special!

It was indeed special, and kind of so much needed... I don't go out as often as I used to
life is complicated and it has its challenges and turmoils...
but Nature always grounds me to the present moment...
and had a message for me

all is growing... as season flows, all grows again... I bet your garden is sending that message to you too now
Big hugs and blessings, thanks always for your kind encouragement.
