I will like to emphasize and discuss more why this type of farming is very important to farmer who has a little or small portion of land to use or farm. Sometimes, it is advisable to make use of the land efficiently to plant and sometimes rear some animals too. So that when the animals make some droppings, it will be used to fertilize the crop yearly or quarterly and the crops will grow more bigger and yield so well within range.

I went to this close farm near my residential house when I saw it I quickly concluded that here was a good example and an experience of a typical use of land to the fullest. The farmer planted mainly crops in this particular piece of land. He planted maize ( corn 🌽🌽 ) , Okro plant in two breeds , one was the high breed spice of the Okro while the second part was the local type.

Beans ( Cowpea ) also was planted on the same piece of land which truly complement each other in so many ways. By the time the maize ( corn 🌽🌽 ) start to fruit and start it maturity stage as well the Cowpea will start to Multiply it branches for more climbing opportunities.

Here we have the Scent leave plant complimenting Okro plant likewise some Vegetables

The need for this kind of cropping system is that, if you have small pieces of land and yet you want all crops to be on it and farm them all at once.
