Making wise decisions is one of the underrated things at the moment. To be fair, it doesn't cost anything to make a wise decision. As far as you give it a deep thought, even when the options you have are not favourable, you would be able to pick a lesser evil.
You might wonder why many people out there are not making wise decisions...
Very often, we see people who choose a path that leads to death, when there is one that leads to life. From the type of food, they eat to their sleeping routine down to more serious instances like their lifestyle, spending habit and whatnot. By mere looking at them, you will be reassured that what they do can only lead to regret. Yet they go on to do the same.
Nowadays, when you catch a criminal, they claim to be stealing because of poverty or unemployment. If you give them an audience, they will go on to tell cock and bull stories of how they grew up in a poor family and how they tried every option before deciding to take up arms and steal from others.
Guess what? People will start showing pity towards such criminals.
I guess you've never been robbed at gunpoint. Maybe your e-wallets are always safe and you've never been hacked so you don't know how it feels to lose everything you own within the twinkle of an eye. If you've had a slight experience of losing your valuables to these criminals, you will give that sentimental pity a darn rest.
For the record, not everyone who grew up poor commits crime. They claim not to have a choice, but there is always a choice. Do recall that criminals do not stick to one crime. They get more high-spirited after each crime and they go on to do more of it. The least they can do is to take responsibility for their action when they are caught, not plead for pity.
Every good or bad result starts from the choices we make.
People who have done their share of making wrong decisions can tell you of the repercussions. If you are thinking of doing something that might lead to regret, I suggest you stop this instant. Simply breathing and staying alive can feel like a nightmare for those that are making unwise decisions.
That's the fact.
