Mushroom Mondays in the Driftless

I missed yesterday's post thanks to a late day at work; instead, wanting to get a #mushroommonday post in this week, I returned to the bluff I hike in the morning to get a few photos of another downed birch tree. And the wonderful fungi that likes to hang around this part of the bluff.

Lots of fungi and moss abound. The sun wasn't out, but there was enough light to get a few photos in as I fought gravity along the bluff's slope.

I believe most of these are turkey tail mushrooms. @sketch.and.jam has mentioned in the past one can forage these and covert them into powders and extracts. I have plenty to pick, so that might be a good summer project for me.
