I am an Acehnese, my province is located at the tip of the island of Sumatra, but because of my work, I get the opportunity to visit the land of Papua, the eastern end of Indonesia.
The people of Aceh and Papua have the same background, in Indonesia, both regions are rich in natural resources. If Aceh is known as Natural Gas, Papua is known for its Copper and Gold.
The people there are very sad, if my province has a little progress, the Land of Papua is far from it, they are still far behind. Life there is completely isolated, in the year 2O17 the new land of Papua has access to a transparent road to the various surrounding areas.
Aceh and Papua have the same background, we rebel regions, Papua, and Aceh both want independence from Indonesia. Injustice has resulted in prolonged conflict. Even though Aceh is now at peace with the past, Papua still demands the same thing, Freedom from Indonesia.
