Memories of Christmas Past by @raj808

The rolling summer clouds kissed wisps of steam thrown out by the engine, gossamer thin vapour drifting by the window that framed her face. Give me back every detail of the lines beneath her eyes, the crescent of her smile and the dimples that blossomed across her cheeks. Please Santa, take away this numbness and give me back the immediacy of my memories.

I believe (A Christmas story) by @joalheal

... I must confess that at that point I was a little worried but my fear turned into surprise when I saw how this gentleman was transmuting with each sip of coffee. His ochre-coloured jacket was turning red, his hair and beard were turning grey, and his build was becoming more robust. I fell into the armchair, right in front of him, totally dumbfounded until a jojojo brought me out of my trance.

Welcome To the First Annual Aaron Slocum-Lofton Memorial "Christmas With Coffee" Party! by @deeanndmathews

“Happy Holidays to all of you,” the old tycoon purred. “I'm going to have my coffee and favorite pastries now, and I invite you to join me.”

Togetherness by @riz611

What's the point of having an extravagant setup and a house full of decorations for Christmas, when the people who we do it for aren't present? Those who do show up, usually lack the patience to stay behind for a conversation, some are on vacation physically, but sadly, their minds are busy worrying about the pressures of their work life and family duties.

Tales can come true, don't lose hope by @bluenix

Darkness fell, the clock ticked and my son, who couldn't take it anymore, fell asleep. I brewed my coffee, went to the window and looked up at the sky, just like when I was a child. I took a sip of my coffee, and it took away all my tiredness. Meanwhile, the wind outside changed. The sky lit up and on the reindeer, a twinkling Santa Claus was waving. I took another sip of coffee to regain my composure. Am I experiencing this now, or am I in the dream I had when I was 8 years old?

A Nice Christmas Surprise by @universoperdido

I hired a man to dress up as Santa and come to my house on Christmas Eve. The man arrived on time; as we had agreed. His costume was impressive, even Charlotte was very excited to see him. David hugged him and invited him to sit on the sofa. Charlotte served him a cup of coffee, while the old man told hilarious stories.

An unexpected encounter with Santa @jetta.amaya

When everyone was asleep Carol went to the kitchen to start the task, but first she prepared a delicious dark coffee, while the coffee pot was gurgling Carol thought she heard the sound of footsteps, she turned sharply and there he was standing in front of her, an ugly and dishevelled little man with a white beard and a red suit. He smiled at her and said: -I came as you asked me what are the gifts we should wrap?

Knox's Gift To St James by @ladytitan

Mark and Jasper were surprised to see Knox Woodson welcome each guest with a handshake and a few words. "Oh, he descends from his throne to welcome us," Mark sneered quietly from the corner of his mouth. "Shut up, Mark. Don't be like that. He's doing a good thing," Jasper whispered back. "Good thing, huh? We'll see about that at the end of this party," Mark said as they approached Knox Woodson with a slight smile.

A note from Santa to me, Merry Christmas and a scotch and coffee by @chacald.dcymt

You are very brave to take on all this alone and to make your children smile and continue to live happily after the loss of their mother, said Santa as he put his hand on Tommy's shoulder.

Cookies for Santa by @aly.squid

I wonder what my life would be like if you had read my letters, if you had honored my wishes, if I had not been one of your forgotten children. But there is no turning back now, I don't know what life has in store for me, but I can no longer wait for your Christmas miracle. This time I am not asking you for a gift, this is my farewell letter.
