A Coffee to Relax!

Wow, what a week we're having! I don't think I've ever experienced so much drama around me, but I'm glad that this time I'm not the protagonist of any of it... Those who follow me know that we have a friend and godmother of our marriage, Kimberly, so in the midst of work chaos, in one of those weeks where we make so much music that it almost starts to feel like a stressful job, we decided to take a coffee break in a modest but beautiful place. A little corner of peace that we call Coffee Town.

That day I ordered a mochaccino, months without having one of those, and a long time without trying a coffee with something sweet, but boy, the occasion warranted it... Yes, we got a little caught up in gossip that afternoon, don't do that guys, but believe me, things have happened that are worthy of a Mexican soap opera finale 😅 and speaking of which, that's one of the issues at hand, next week the group will split in two to represent our country abroad, one group will go to Mexico and the other to Italy. It sounds good and nice, but there's a lot behind it, though nothing so serious that it can't be remedied with a good cup of coffee.

This coffee shop is small, with only four tables for two and two tables for four, but it's a cool place in the middle of the city, with dim lighting and music that really relaxes those who hang out here. In addition to coffee, they sell sweets and the service is very friendly. I don't think I've been here since February, but every time I do, I stay from noon until dusk. If you live in Caracas, you can visit this place a few meters from the Provincial Tower in the city center. The prices are excellent, and you can take beautiful pictures in any corner... Most importantly, if there is a lot of stress around you, as in our case, then here you will find that peace in the midst of the storm that many of us long for.

¡Wow, que semana estamos teniendo!. Creo que nunca había vivido tanta drama a mi al rededor, pero me alegra que en esta ocasión no soy el protagonista de ninguno de ellos... Quienes me siguen saben que tenemos una amiga y madrina de nuestro matrimonio, Kimberly, así que en medio del caos laboral, en una de las semanas donde hacemos tanta música que casi comienza a sentirse como un trabajo estresante, decidimos hacer una pausa de café, en un lugar modesto, pero hermoso. Un rinconcito de paz al que llamamos Coffee Town.

Ese día pedí un mochaccino, meses sin tomarme uno de esos, y mucho tiempo sin probar un café con algo de dulzor , pero vaya que la ocasión lo ameritaba... Sí, caímos un poco en el chisme esa tarde, no hagan eso muchachos, pero créanme que han pasado cosas de final de telenovela mexicana 😅 y hablando de ello, ese es uno de los temas en cuestión, la semana entrante la agrupación se dividirá en dos para representar a nuestro país fuera de nuestras fronteras, un grupo irá a México y el otro a Italia. Suena bien y bonito, pero eso conlleva muchas cosas detrás, pero nada tan grave que no se pueda sanar con un buen café.

Este Coffee Shop es pequeño, solo tiene unas cuatro mesas para dos y dos mesas para cuatro, pero es un lugar fresco en medio de la ciudad, con iluminación tenue y música que realmente relaja a quienes pasan el rato aquí. Además de café venden dulces y el trato es muy amable. Creo que no venía desde Febrero, pero cada vez que lo hago me quedo desde el medio día hasta el anochecer. Si vives en Caracas, puedes acercarte a este lugar a pocos metros de la Torre Provincial en el centro de la ciudad. Los precios son excelentes y te puedes tomar fotografías muy bonitas en cualquier rincón... Lo más importante, si hay mucho estrés a tu al rededor, como en nuestro caso, entonces aquí encontrarás esa paz en medio de la tormenta que tanto anhelamos muchos 🙏
