Which one would you choose?

Hello my dear fellow coffee lovers, for today I share with you some types of coffee makers that I found interesting in my last visit to the appliance store.

My husband and I are on our way to acquire another Roku (device to connect to TVs and enjoy the internet and watch Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, among others), since the one we bought recently I gave it to my mother. For now I can not change the TVs to Smart TVs, so we solve with these devices.

Always walk us the store to know everything they offer, as well as their prices and keep in mind the next products to buy. This time I stopped in the coffee maker aisle to detail each one of them.

I have to confess that it was difficult for me to understand the operation of several of them, ha, ha, ha, ha, these latest models on the market I did not know and although the purpose remains the same, the variety of shapes of the coffee makers confused me a little. For me there were only three models of coffee makers, electric, conventional (which I have at home), espresso and moka or greca, nothing further from the truth. Ahhh also the machines for coffee capsules.

Next I will show you the variety of coffee makers available in the store.

These are electric coffee makers that are usually found in offices, take to events where they will receive a large number of people, I have also seen them in stores and medical offices and their large capacity allows them to offer coffee to many people at the same time, and since it works with electricity, it stays connected and the coffee stays hot. They come in different sizes and can provide from 20 to 100 small cups of coffee in one preparation. Available in stainless steel for greater durability.

It is very useful, easy to use, comes with a washable filter and a dispenser for serving.

Now I present to you the electric coffee makers up to 20 cups and common in our homes in models of this year 2022. They have a clock so you can program them to turn on and off, have a washable filter, emit audible signals to indicate that the coffee is ready to taste, even have a special cleaning cycle, come in stainless steel and other materials such as plastic, allowing you to choose the color of your preference. The carafe is made of glass.

We continue with the espresso machines, uhmmm what a delightful coffee we get with these beauties, rich and creamy. They have a steam wand to heat the milk in the best coffee shop style. The carafe is made of glass and has an electric power supply, and an indicator light to let us know if it is on. Available in a variety of sizes and colors. The red one was my favorite to make it stand out in the kitchen. I would definitely like to have one at home.

Now the personal coffee makers, so called because its coffee capacity is a large cup. You can choose it with ceramic cup or steel cup to take it wherever you want. I can imagine this coquetry in a bachelor's house.

3.png

And as always, the best for last. The coffee grinder for the home, in its practical size and modern design. It works with electricity and depending on the model you can select whether you want a coarse or fine grind (up to 12 levels). It combines stainless steel with plastic. And you have several models to choose from. My favorite was the Hamilton Beach model with the coffee bean hopper on top.

After delighting myself with the great variety of coffee brewing appliances, we set out to locate a vendor and request the Roku, which is why we went to the store.

If I had to choose, I would take home the Expresso Coffee Maker in red and the coffee grinder. Can you imagine being able to buy coffee beans and grind them when you are going to prepare them? An experience of another level. I will enthusiastically show all visitors my new electrical appliances.

That's all for today for coffee lovers and hivers in general. See you another time.

That's all for today, I hope you like my content. See you another time.

I say goodbye wishing you good energy 💞

Honestly, I like them all!

  • The 20-cup dropper is great for the office.
  • The 100 might be a good investment for an event, workshops, etc, but that would be down the road.
  • The staff would be the perfect gift for my sister who has a birthday soon, is it too expensive, is it a store around these parts or in Caracas?
  • The coffee grinder I would give to my mother, she would be mega happy! and we would play Hugo Blanco's song hehe!.

I would love the Mocca one, because of the barista thing... someday I will do a barista workshop.

Anyway, I want them all!☕️😘

Hi Yeny what a pleasure to read you.
I'm glad you found a use for every gadget hahaha.

I imagine you arriving at your mother's house with a bag full of gifts and then tasting the coffee in different ways.

Ohh a Batista course, how interesting!

The store is in Caracas and they have 3 branches.

Hello @lisrl26 😁

Instant Coffee!!-15.jpg

I am confused too!
However, I like the pros that you've mentioned about being able to grind your own coffee beans when you need them. That's what is actually recommended.
There are so many advantages to having these coffee machines. I would first eliminate the industrial size one unless I had a large family.
The choices would be between the drip machine and the espresso machine.

The drip is convenient for a small size family or if you have friends over, and the taste is good. The espresso machine, which I'm very used to, makes a consistently good coffee too. However, if you have to make coffee for many people, then it can be a pain.

My deciding factor would be:

  1. How solid and durable the digital press buttons are? I am not a big fan of touch buttons, because once they stop working, then the machine is toast.
  2. I would prefer not to have glass appliances. This is mainly because if the glass should break, replacement might be hard to find, or just as expensive as getting a new machine.

Nice post 🙌

Hi Milli, the truth is that if I were to buy the mill, I would only use it for special occasions.
I don't think those little machines are that strong and durable, even if your blade is steel there is the issue you mention...the digital buttons.

Regarding the espresso machine, you must have another type of coffee maker at home even if it is the cloth bag that is used here in the villages hahaha and in the cities too.

Imagine receiving a visitor and first you have to grind the coffee and then you only have an espresso machine, they would have to flip a coin to know who drinks first.

I consider that the best option is the drip or electric one, since it gives you the alternative of preparing from 1 to 20 cups.

Best regards.
P.S. I like your pictures, I have seen a great variety. 😊

Hi Lis,
Yes, I agree that having a manual backup machine is important. I only have a greca, and a French press at the moment, but in the future, I may get another machine. The same dilemma as you. Drip vs Espresso. I think you've made a good decision, the drip is the best choice.

Imagine receiving a visitor and first you have to grind the coffee and then you only have an espresso machine, they would have to flip a coin to know who drinks first.

🤣 haha! You are so right!

Thank you so much regarding the photos 😊😁
They are to add life and humour to the community 🤣 and hopefully members will interact more :)))

oh yes, interaction is important. You can create initiatives / contests, it's a good way to get to know each other a little better. I participate in many and there are communities that make it a rule to support with votes and comments at least three participants.

I like 😊

Hmmm. That's a tough decision

The espresso maker and grinder would be a good choice. My wife has been wanting to get a fancy coffee machine for about 7 years now haha. One that makes all sorts of different varieties of coffee. Maybe one day. Right now we just have a simple standard coffee machine like the ones in the 2nd line of options.

Surprise your wife after 7 years with a beautiful coffee maker, she will be happy and it will be a gift that both of you will enjoy.
Be careful with the color, it will not distort in the kitchen hahaha.

Have a nice day.

I am fascinated by the grinder and the nespresso coffee maker, what is the value of both?

Hi Fabian, you can get the mill from 30$, depending on the brand, size and functions.
The coffee makers I showed are espresso machines and like the grinder the price varies, they start at $50. They are not for capsules.

I hope to have helped you 🤗
