BLACK COFFEE FOR MANY!!!

As I have already told you several times, but for those of you who are seeing me for the first time, let me tell you... My mother is a lady of 86 years old (May 23rd) and she is very flirtatious.
She loves coffee just like me, I am convinced that it comes from generation to generation, I still remember clearly when my grandmother used to make her guayoyo colado, as we say in Venezuela, (light black coffee) in a super old cloth bag in a fire pit in the backyard of the house
.
My mom loves coffee pots and everything to do with coffee. On May 23rd, her birthday, we bought her a very nice coffee pot, unlike the one my brother gave her, which is only for two cups of coffee, this one is very big and has different sizes to make the amount of coffee you want, depending on the people who are going to drink it.

She had been for months with the issue that when she had many people visiting her she did not have a big coffee pot to offer them coffee, so we took the opportunity and bought her a big one!!!!

We went to her house, my brothers and I spent a nice day sharing with that old lady and telling stories of the past.

At 5 o'clock in the afternoon, I asked my mother if I could use her new coffee pot, but as a joke, she answered of course, daughter! And everyone present burst out laughing, hahahaha.
I set out to make the coffee, first to place the amount of water so that several cups would come out, then where to place the water and the coffee, as it is a traditional coffee maker I had no problem in doing so, I assembled it, turned on the coffee maker and sat next to my brothers to wait for it to brew.

It was quite fast, everyone was amazed at the speed of that machine! I got up and served it, there were 5 of us who wanted to drink black coffee.

We sat in the dining room with my mother and when we were starting to drink our coffee, the doorbell rang, it was the watchman who came to bring a bush to my mother that she had bought and left it in the guardhouse because it was too heavy.

My mother without thinking twice and without asking us if there was any coffee left, she said: "Come in sir, daughter, serve a cup of coffee to Mr. Pedro, (we all saw each other's faces and smiled) I got up and served the coffee to Mr. Pedro, thank goodness it was left in the coffee pot and that way we didn't feel sorry, hahaha.

My mother always does it, if we are having breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack or something to drink, and at that moment someone arrives, she immediately offers him without knowing or asking if there is any left or not, hahaha, but well she always taught us to share and help those in need.

So the gentleman sat down next to us and tasted that delicious coffee, saying thank you very much, it is delicious.

So we ended that nice evening with the building caretaker and a delicious black coffee.

Thank you my dear fellow members of this delicious community for making it this far. Do you know something? Every time I read those posts that you publish about coffee my mouth waters and I immediately go to prepare one, hahahaha.

See you soon in another meeting with my inseparable friend "EL CAFË".

Hi Tibi

That's such a lovely gift for your mom, I can tell that she was completely in love with her new coffee machine. I think that practical gifts like that are great and I hope it will bring her many many cups of happy deliciousness.

Have a beautiful day 🌼

Hi my girl, definitely my mother fell in love with that coffee maker, just like me, 😄🤣🤭it is beautiful and very practical, we can enjoy abundant coffee all the family, I love it!!!! Same to you, have a beautiful day and thank you so much for your comment 🤗🙏💕.

Loved that coffee pot and the very beautiful mugs. Many health blessings to your mom. That anecdote reminded me of my maternal abuelita. That's how she was, she would offer without counting what was in the kitchen, the good thing was that there was always something left over. I learned from her, I am like that and I immediately think that God provides. I loved reading you, greetings.

Hi @aurodivys , yes that was seen a lot in our parents time, but I completely agree with you, they taught us to give and share... and the more we give the more we receive from the universe, that's why that saying so true that says: "God will provide " "The more you give, the more you receive" Thanks a lot for your comment! Happy and successful day to you and yours😊💕🙏
