The Vatican City is one of the smallest city state in Europe and also the world. Most people would visit the Vatican City for its religious and cultural sites such as St. Peter's Basilica, the Sistine Chapel, and the Vatican Museum. Within the Vatican Museum, lies this is the famed double helix staircase, also known as the Bramante Staircase. One staircase is for people ascending and the other for descending. This allows for smooth human traffic and those ascending will never meet those descending.

The staircase is located at the end of the museum visit and all visitors will leave by this route, so there's no chance of you missing it if you are ever there. However, if you want to take a shot without anyone in it, a tip is to go to the Museum early and head straight to the staircase. Do look up when you are at the bottom too. The view is just as amazing.
