Hi dear Hivers in Photofeed community, today I would like to introduce to you a series of photos about the flooded forest in Dak Tang lake that I took recently. Dak Tang lake was created by the construction of the upper Kon Tum hydroelectric dam. People blocked the flow of the Dak Bla River to build hydroelectric power, forming a large lake with a length of about 15km and the deepest point recorded is about 200m. Due to the large water surface area, the surrounding forests have been flooded and create a unique beauty for this lake.
Only by taking a small boat can we reach different corners of this vast lake. The flooded forests are home to fish, reptiles, mammals,... The deeper we went into the flooded forest, the more mysterious its beauty became. I felt like I was entering another world. It is a pity to see many forest trees flooded and dead, but those trees also create a mysterious beauty for this lake.
It took us almost 3 hours to explore this lake, although we still haven't explored all the different corners of the lake. The forests and canyons created hidden areas that I think it will take a whole day for us to explore all of them. Even so, I was very pleased with the trip and I hope you enjoyed my collection of this flooded forest. The afternoon sunlight makes the flooded forest more colorful and beautiful. The flooded Forest look beautiful, that's right but what will happen to the forest and it trees, I wish they are able to survive this much amount of flood.
The lake artificial looks very beautiful, the natural atmosphere looks still very natural and the photos you share are also amazing
