What's Good hive!

Are you looking for an easy trip quick Weekend Getaway and down for salty water and Surf up? Well you can choose with five of the Surf Spots in Luzon: San Narciso - Zambales, Real - Quezon, San Juan - La Union, Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte and the place I recently visited Aurora, Baler!

Coming from: Manila, it's approximately 5 hours Bus drive, so here's what you can do.

  • Book a bus ride directly going to Aurora, Baler. you can check this website PinoyTravel
  • The fair is less than PhP1000, if you check today One-way ticket is at PhP870.00 (USD$15.81)
  • This bus has it's a Toilet, comfortable reclining seats, and will have not stop overs.
  • Once you confirmed your book and ready to go, you will have to go to GENESIS-JOYBUS Station which is located in Cubao, Quezon City
  • I would suggest take the Night rides so it would be less traffic and when you wake up, you're already there!

Our Bus left around 12-midnight and Arrived Baler at around 5:00 A.M.

Upon arriving we were picked up by our relative, but don't worry from the bus station there are Tricycle (Tuktuk) Ready and available to take you to place you need to be.

Breakfast and Surf

Before doing anything else, we went to Sabang Area to have our breakfast at Bay's Inn, This is the area where Amateur and newbies usually surf, trainers are also just around the corner and ready to offer their service.

Surfers catching the first wave of the day! infront of the Bay's inn in Buton Street.

If you planning to visit this place to surf, you can always check the the Surf height here magicseaweed.com, I tagged the one in Sabang, Baler, but you can check other area from the website as well.

"Nothing Beats Nature"

As we drove around, our tourguide took us near Florence beach resort, where I were able to capture this scenic Islets and some rock formations.

Aniao Islet

Funny story, we were supposed to stay just for a bit, unfortunately the kid of our guide was so gullible we all went out of the car while the car's engine still running and as the kid went out the whole car lockdown on us, so our driver had to go back to his place and get his spare key.

Leaving me to stay with nature a little longer than was planned. The view was just awesome, and I was loving it! lot of cool rock formations and awesome view of the sea! It took us about an hour before we able to left the place.

"Daydreaming of one day having my own pad with a beach front.."

Too bad we only stayed here for two days and had to go back to Manila right away, we just had to meet with a family relative and check there property that they are selling. Oh I wish I have 12Million pesos to purchase there land. I'd never leave if I did.

Poseidon, God of the Sea

I was able to have this photo and so godly, in between two worlds, the land, and the sea, nothing makes me feel more alive than a breezy day and the smell of the salty sea, walking barefooted, makes me feel closer to Mother Earth. One day I will be back not for vacation but for the rest of my days. As my bare skin touches the temperate sand, as the wave crashes my legs I feel rejuvenated, I felt alive once more, nothing inspires me to be humble than understanding the place I always call home. Knowing the fact that on my last day, soon after I'll completely be one with Nature.

Beautiful. Try visiting our town here in San Juan, La Union too. It's also good for surfing, kuya :)
